We had the best time in this back to basics home. It was perfect to decompress from city and work stressors. The fully fenced outdoor area was perfect for our two dogs to run about. We loved both the indoor and outdoor fire places. Perfect for a short stay!

One bedroom cabin amongst the gum trees. Lovely views overlooking the valley with glorious sunrises. Very clean, lovely hot showers, comfortable queen size bed and toasty warm fireplace. Host was very helpful with local goings on.

Great place to stay, from the lovely location looking out into the tree canopy, ducks on the dams and an echindna wandering in the paddock most days. Very comfortable bed and pillows and lovely hot shower . A cosy, very clean cabin with warm fire and everything you need plus extras. Friendly, kind hosts. Couldnt really want for anything more. Will stay again. Highly recommended.

Owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Perfect for a couples wanting a getaway. Town only 5 minutes away. Had everything we needed and more.

We were kept well stocked with firewood to keep us cosy and well informed about local food and events. Really friendly, thoughtful hosts. And the cabin is great and in an amazing spot with a beautiful view.

We had a great stay at the Fig tree cabin, so comfortable and Paul was a wonderful welcoming host. Beautiful outlook, private and quiet with an added bonus of an indoor fire and outdoor fire pit. Lovely in the morning sitting on the front porch having breakfast. Great for those with pets, the dogs were welcomed and there was secure fenced area where they could be off leash. Thanks for providing such a great place to stay.

Absolutely amazing our batteries are recharged. Awesome sunrises and didn't even need to get out of bed! Cottage had absolutely everything we needed it was so cosy from comfy bed, fireplace, outdoor firepit, fully equipped kitchen and an amazing hot shower. Host Paul was great available as needed and made us so welcome. Would highly recommend.

Quiet and peaceful, great views of the sunrise

I booked Figtree cabin as a birthday gift for my son and his girlfriend. They had a wonderful time and really enjoyed their stay. They visited the Zoo in Mogo. Highly recommend and will be booking for my husband and I soon

Great location, beautiful sunrise, limited wood supply each day, toilet could be improved to a proper system. Overall a lovely location with excellent hosts.

Could not fault anything with this property. Very clean , engaging host , dog friendly , absolutely gorgeous spot. Loved waking up to the sunrise and having Brekky overlooking the paddock .

This cabin, cleverly constructed from recycled materials, was a joy to stay in. Private and quiet with an expansive view and plenty of olfactory action for the dogs.

My dogs and I enjoyed our getaway in this quaint little scenic cottage whilst exploring the surrounds. Paul was a friendly host who provided firewood each night and knowledge of the area. Thank you Paul & Denise we will be back soon. Jacqueline

A great scenic stay, a good break away from the hassle & bustle, somewhere to winde down and soak up the serenity. Paul is a very hospitable, helpful and nice natured bloke who made sure the firepit was good to go every day, took you around the property, and gave great spots to see. Always a good yarn with Paul. Very comfortable

A beautiful and unique cabin in a peaceful country location with a kind and attentive host. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful everything is recycled down to the floor boards. It was very comforting and peaceful stay had everything you need in kitchen, the cabin had games, books and even a radio to listen to, the bed is very comfortable to sleep in and it looks out to the dam it has big surrounding windows all around the room, very airy. The hot shower is great its a manual hose you can take out it's not lock in. Our host Paul is lovely and pleasant to speak to he goes out of his way to help you in whatever you need. My dog didn't even wanted to go home she had a great relaxing break here at cabin. Definitely will return. Highly recommended and it's not far from Sydney for a small holiday and escape the Rat race.

We loved our stay, the cabin is so cosy and had everything we needed. It was so nice to get away for a few days and chill out. Cheese and wine on the verandah looking at the view at the end of the day was just perfect. Paul and Denise are just lovely and made sure we were happy and comfortable throughout our stay. Paul was so helpful and offered lots of advise on things to do and see. The perfect hosts. Our dog Chips had the best time playing with Winnie, running around the closed in yard and out in the paddock.

Paul's property is honestly wonderful and if I could give it more stars, I would. Paul is an amazing host, super helpful and really attentive. The cabin itself is in a lovely location, 5 minutes drive from shops and local amenities, with so much to do within the local area and so close to lot's of fab beaches and interesting areas, with lots of great walks too. We took our two greyhounds who had the BEST time ever running around the paddock and exploring. We will 100% be back! Thank you Paul!

With incredible views in this farmland setting, we really love this cabin amazingly built from recycled housing materials, with an ideal sized enclosed garden for our dogs, and a sunny north east facing deck perfect for relaxing with a book. This little cottage is the perfect getaway from city life. The character of all the recycled materials in this cottage added rustic charm to the extreme beauty of the location. Paul was an excellent host, helping us unpack and checking in each day to see if we needed anything. He set the fire pit up as well as the indoor fire. Waking to the amazing sunrise in your bed, breakfast on the veranda and cosy evenings indoors made this a memorable trip and Yogi, our dog, felt right at home too. We’ll be back!

Greeted after dark by Paul who had already set up the fire place we were able relaxe straight away. The cabin is cosy, rustic and romantic. Very comfortable bed, peaceful surrounds. Perfect for those looking to take a moment and enjoy the simplest joys in life. We cannot wait to get back.
