The view of the ocean was fabulous from both balconies. Walking to the beach was fast and easy. The beds that we used were comfortable (all but 3 of the twins). House was cleaner than most places we have stayed. When we called for maintenance because some of the balcony spindles were loose (toddler found them!), they came out in a few hours (Monday). He also fixed the toilet (handle had to be jiggled to stop running) for us while he was there. The beach was quiet with only a few people on it (early May). If we come to Orange Beach again, we would stay here again. The PROs definitely outweighed the CONs once the spindles were secured. We didn't use the pool, grills, or firepit. The deck chairs were very nice, but there were only 4 on the main deck and 2 on top. If you have more people, you will need to bring some of your own or take kitchen chairs outside. The beach and property were clean and visually appealing. Having large windows in all the rooms facing the ocean was wonderful.

The balcony spindles need to be redesigned to be more secure. They should not be able to come loose and push out! Some (at least 3) of the TVs did not work because they were missing remotes or cable boxes. We used our tablets instead, but would have preferred to use the TVs. The comforters were very thin, so extra blankets or throws for the beds and lounging on the couch would have been appreciated. The provided coffee cups are only 8 ounces, so if you are spoiled (like me) and need larger, you had better bring your own! Ha! Ha! Ha! (The coffee maker does not use K-cups, so bring your own if that is something you prefer.) Some of the doorknobs need to be replaced because they were hard to open. The Vacasa staff does NOT know the beach rules and cannot advise you properly. I think this should be a requirement for every rental property. They gave us incorrect info. You CAN, in fact, use a canopy on the beach any time of day as long as it is set up behind the white posts. Umbrellas are allowed near the water. This was our first time visiting Orange Beach. The ocean water was not clear and blue like the beaches on 30A in Florida, but I don't know if that was because of the weather or if the water is always green here. The sand is soft and white though. I like to be able to see the bottom of the ocean, so I didn't get in the water. If that is important to you, I would advise you to ask someone familiar with the area before booking. :^)

We had 8 adults and 1 child for this trip! The location was exceptional and allowed for time at the beach as desired by each guest. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. The common living space was comfortable as well! The kitchen had most of the items needed to prepare meals.

Some repairs are needed - broken window boarded up. Some cleanliness - I had to clean the toilets when we first got there - under the rim was visible mold. Needs furniture on all desks. Top deck from master did not have any furniture. Some of the dressers in the bedrooms needs to be replaced. Does not open and close easily.
