We had a wonderful stay. The home was cozy and exactly as described. Everything was clean and organized with good instructions. We were relaxed and very pleased with the accommodations. It was lovely to see the sunrise over the moutain top..... Morning mist floating over the lake. We enjoyed traveling into Cashiers and Highlands and exploring the area. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock !! We will definitely come back and would love to stay here again. I have set up an account with Evolve and saved this location as a favorite. We had a good first experience with Evolve.

This is a great cabin!
We loved this cabin! It was very well-stocked, clean and even better in person than it looks in the pictures. Beds were super comfy and we had everything we needed for a fun weekend in the mountains! This was one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. Thank you!!

This cabin was perfect for our most recent trip. There are two bedrooms and a loft, so it’s perfect for anywhere between 2 to 6 people. The location is in the northwest corner of the lake, but from the house, there is less than a 30 second drive down a paved road to get to Pine Creek Road, and it’s one minute to get to the Pine Creek public boat ramp (10 seconds by water).
There are two porches, but the front porch is the one that is covered and has the nice view of the lake. The back porch is narrow and open, but has the storage compartment for the life preservers, as well as the gas grill. There’s also a big beautiful apple tree in the backyard that you can sit or lay under. We saw chipmunks, rabbits and even a resident beaver in the backyard on more than one occasion. There are also lots of hummingbirds and a few feeders on the front porch.
This house had excellent cell phone reception for Verizon customers (I believe there’s a booster in the house) and great Wi-Fi for everybody.
The dock at the lake is large, stable, and even has two boat whips. You have to walk down the driveway and cross the tiny residential street to get to the dock, & there are other docks on both sides; but it still felt “private” and was very convenient. All of the other neighbors and renters that we encountered at the neighboring docks were very friendly.
Overall a very nice cabin and great experience. Would highly recommend, especially for anybody that is intending to make use of the pine creek boat ramp.

The only surprise was how close the neighboring dock is, which has about 7 motor boats from other homes in the neighborhood. It would be helpful to include a photo that shows the other dock and it's proximity to give the correct understanding of the situation. The neighbor's dock was only busy on Sunday and Monday. But the neighbors were really great people! Also, the public access to the lake is just across from this house's dock. It was busy on Sunday, but did not impact our stay during the week at all. The helper for the house was incredibly wonderful, responsive and kind. She made our trip terrific and easy. Thank you! We enjoyed our trip very much.

Great getaway
We were celebrating our 32 anniversary and wanted a quiet spot to get away for a few days. The cabin was the perfect spot. Very clean and comfortable. All the little extras: linens and towels provided, paper products, well stocked kitchen, complimentary toiletries, we're very much appreciated. We had such a relaxing time kayaking on the lake and enjoying the beautiful setting of the home. We look forward to returning.

Could and SHOULD have been better
The cabin in itself was fine, just as expected. Location was nice, and amenities worked fine.
It was not too clean, as there were dead flies and other insects in plain sight, by windows, that could have easily been taken care of with enough attention to detail.
Upstairs toilet was clogged and the plunger that was available was warped and did nothing.
The night we checked in, there was plenty of snow on the very steep driveway. When attempting to back out and leave to get necessities, my car skid on ice, and only stopped inches away from a post and a tree. When calling our contact person Julia, she answered right away. She said she was there earlier that day and her car skid too, but regained traction when she got to the bottom of the driveway. She told me that she was going to find out with the homeowner if there was anything on property to help us melt the ice, but then disappeared. I called her 6-7 more times, and texted as well, yet got no reply until nearly 11p.m.
Her actions we very irresponsible. She should have thought about the upcoming check-in, and maybe deice the driveway, or at the very least warn us about it.
Her attitude towards us was horrendous, as she has NO CLUE what customer service is all about.
Overall - the stay was good, but communication with Evolve, and more specifically their designated rep, was non existing. Will most likely not use their services again, just due to that.
