Although the house is close to the city's historic center, it is calm and quiet. The host, Myriam, was a great resource for information about Cuenca and frequently helped with arranging transportation to nearby attractions. When it came to restaurants and places to visit, we did as she suggested and helped us. Local markets and at least three supermarkets are within walking distance. The WiFi worked well throughout the property. We chose to eat in, and Myriam helped and let us use one of her two kitchen spaces. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and we want to repeat it when we get back to Cuenca. Many thanks, Myriam!

Very friendly and informative family. Miriam always there to help with any questions. Great atmosphere as there is always people coming from all walks in life and counties to stay. Campers ,hikers, cyclists, tourists. Everyone considered part of the family. I stayed for 38nts and loved the homey feeling there.. Close walk to amenities ,Centro and the tranvia line.
