We were on the island of Sao Miguel for the second time. We also went to Furnas. In our experience, this is a very bad decision. However, staying in Via Franca and Apartamentos Francisco Martins is the best decision. Wonderful settlement, many attractions, and the apartment is spotlessly clean, well-equipped, comfortable, spacious and centrally located. The kitchen has quality equipment, dishes, oil, coffee,... And you can also wash and hang clothes upstairs.

Everything is just impeccable. From.the communication before checking in, to the friendliness and attention from Pedro and Sara, to the apartment itself: clean, spacious, with all the amenities...location is perfect... I honestly can't find a single thing that can be improved. We are delighted to stay here and we will certainly make it our accommodation if/when we return to Sao Miguel.

Spacious 1st floor apartment with one double room downstaris and two seperate rooms upstairs. Perfect for families as washing machine and all kitchen utensils are available. Not too many restaurants choices so if you don’t mind cooking during holiday, a very big supermarket is just 3 mins by car where you can buy everything or even warm meal. The location is central in town right in front of church and square but also a downside as there is always people talking on the street near by. Vila Franca do Campo is a nice place to stay for a couple of days, visiting the tiny island opposite or beaches near by. The host recommended the best fish restaurant nearby which is indeed best in Sao Miguel. The host and staff are all very kind and friendly. They gave us a lot of recommendations on what to see and do. The best bakkery is also located in Vila Franco do Campo. We went there everyday for afternoon tea. Parking in the same street is usually quite easy. Typical streets are very narrow and sometimes with two way traffic but not so much of an issue in this location.

You hear all noises from the square and especially at night when teenagers gathered together talking really loud. The curtains in the double room can be in thicker fabric so it blocks more light as well as heat during the day.

The apartment is absolutely beautiful. It was most comfortable and so elegantly decorated. We arrived late and check in was easy. We absolutely loved our stay and totally recover it to anybody who appreciates a touch of class.

The only thing l did not like was that our stay was so short.

It is a great two bedroom apartment in the Centre of Vila Franca do Campo. The host was really impeccable with us and very thoughtful. The apartment is fully equipped and has a everything you need for a comfy stay. I highly recommend this place.

Location close to church which rang hourly - even throughout the night

Location is excellent and the apartment is very well equipped with everything you need.

The first part of the night can be pretty noisy due to the restaurant in ground floor.

The host Geronimo was soooo friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He's always available as his travel agency business is downstairs - and he was so helpful with helping us plan our island agenda. Free parking on street in front. Host was very very attentive to All our needs and takes pride in his suite. Beautiful authentic Sao Miguel apartment that was very spacious and had beautifully renovated bathroom with an excellent laundry machine. I highly recommend this place.

There was only 1 bowl in the kitchen, but Geronimo was already aware of this and in the process of adding some more.

We had a code to enter. This was this best check-in especially since we got there late at night.

There was not a thing that we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

Spacious, clean and overall very comfortable. Close to the marina and beach. People running the place were most helpful and gave us advice on what to visit on the island and were always there to answer our questions.

The accommodation is centrally located, parking is free of charge around the accommodation. You can get the key during the day at the travel agency below the accommodation. The owner of the travel agency is very helpful and cares about the guests. The accommodation is very spacious and was very clean.

Check in was very straight forward and obtained the check in code from the Travel Agents Office immediately next door to the apartment. The accommodation was very comfortable with all the amenities that we needed. It was also in the middle of town so easy for restaurants etc.
