According to the pictures, there was a path going down the side and we had someone in a wheelchair. We could not get him down so we had to drive to a Dock to get him on. The boat steps were horrible, but a lot of them were everything else was fine. Very pretty there .

This house was pretty easy to get to from LaFollette. And was a great place to spend time with friends!

We had a surprise birthday party for my wife here that went quite well. Lots of room and love proximity to the lake. And the lake was marvelous - the hit of the party - so remarkably clean and clear.

The pictures of this house look beautiful, well the lake is absolutely gorgeous, but the house needs a lot of updating. The kitchen floors are cracked, the living room has white carpet completely stained, all the skylights have mold and a couple leak, mold on the shower ceiling in the master. We had to put a bowl in the sunroom to catch the water leaking from a faucet. There was also a scorpions in the master shower. If your planning on doing any real cooking plan on bring your own stuff, what is there is old and cheap. There are 2 kayaks on the property but the paddles are broken. We had trucks and trailers in the driveway and the day the trash company came we were yelled at and told to get our pieces of sh*t truck out of the way. The day after we left I received an email about a claim for missing towels and a comforter needing repair. We left the place in better shape than when we checked in. There was no missing towels, trust me they are nothing special. Norris lake is absolutely beautiful and would visit again, but not this property.

Over all the experience was awesome the Wi-Fi wasn’t the best a couple lights on the top deck didn’t work but it’s hard to tell since there are Quite a few light switches and we eventually just gave up. The living room fan remote didn’t work and we didn’t realize the switch was all the way upstairs in the loft until the last night. Apparently there are rolling blackouts which are not mentioned and I understand why but hey it was a little unnerving with no lights no cell service in a place none of us had ever been. But Tom was a peach he communicated with me at ever turn from the beginning and made this experience great just off his communication alone! I will say I wasn’t a fan of having to do laundry.

Not Happy
The overall size of the property worked for our family of 19, from 5-65. The large great room was very comfortable. All the sleeping arrangements for the most part were adequate. The biggest concern was the overall condition of the property. The first time we went to change out garbage can liners in both the recycling bin and the kitchen pull out, it was noted that there was garbage underneath the liners and possible mold growing in the cans. That concern and pictures were sent to the management company with no response until a follow up call three days later. The second concern was exposed wiring in the sunroom where a light fixture was taken out of the ceiling. Four out of the five skylights in the sunroom had foggy windows in them which is a sign of corrupted seals for the insulated glass. Two of the sunroom side windows also we’re foggy again a sign of corrupted seals. You could see where water had leaked in around the wood trim of the skylights and when it was raining one day we had water dripping in the sunroom. On the exterior of the sunroom windows, the trim around the windows was rotted through. The first evening, one family was using the lower level bunk bed bedroom and only had one working outlet out of five outlets in that room. The first evening, we went to the outdoor grill and we’re shocked at the condition of the grill as far as debris in the bottom of the grill and also the lack of proper gas line heating. The grill was so dirty that after five minutes it entirely flamed up. we could not use it the rest of our stay. Continuing on the outside, the hot tub temperature would not adjust down from between 105 and 107°. We attempted to make the adjustment on the keypad and it did not lower the temperature at all. When it came time to put the grandchildren to bed the first night, we pulled out the sofa in the lower level closest to the staircase and saw quite a bit of debris on the mattress and mattress pad as there was no bed clothing on the bed itself. The grandkids said “I’m not sleeping on that!” Instead, we blew up an air mattress for the grandchildren that one of the families had brought. As per the check in instructions, the thermostat was never set below 70°. Unfortunately, since there were no adjustments on the lower level supply vents, there was as much as a 15° difference between the lower level and the loft. Since I don’t have many words left, the gutters were also totally clogged and dripping over the edges. Not happy.

Suits Us Just Fine was great! We had a blast. The house is perfect for a family gathering. Lots of steps down to the dock but that's just Norris Lake! Would return 😊

My family and another group stayed at the house for an UTV/ATV trip. Overall our stay was great and this place would be very fun in the summer on the lake!
Parking : Before booking we were happy to see that there was enough parking for 12 cars in the description. We messaged the manager of the property to clarify us being able to bring the UTV on the property since we had specifically picked this place due to the circle drive and advertised size of the driveway. The manager should have warned us that the trailers would be a VERY tight fit . There is a flat spot in the side of the road up top to also park. We were able to fit all 3 trucks and trailers but no more cars would have fit. In able to fit all 3 trucks and trailers we had to back the trailers down the very steep driveway.
House: The house was in very good condition minus floor tiles being cracked and some patio doors not being able to use . The beds were overall comfortable . Definitely have enough room in the house for the adults and kids to spread out and relax. The views were awesome!
Lake: the lake was beautiful and Tom has 2 kayaks on the dock to use. We did not get time to use them since we were gone most of the days trail riding.
Kitchen: all the crockpots you could ever need! They also have baking dishes and an electric skillet. Some appliances were outdated but functioning! Faucet in the kitchen has a little leak if not turned off in a certain position.
Location: not too far from town. About a 20-30 min drive to town and in a very quiet neighborhood .

Great views and Nice House
We were a family of three that were looking for a peaceful stay and to look around for possible relocation. This house was definitely a very nice house, very comfortable (beds and all) and had lots of room to stretch out and relax. It has all of the dishes, pots, pans, etc that you need. It could of been a little cleaner, but wasn't bad enough to be upset by. The view was beautiful. The lake is nice and the fire pit was awesome! We sat out by the pit every night with a fire and heard absolutely nothing. It was great. Tom - the manager of the property was very responsive. I will warn you, it takes a good 25 minutes to go the 11 miles from the main road to the house and I would recommend getting their during the day for the first trip up. It was a hike to travel around, though I admit it was always worth coming back to the house after a long day driving around everywhere. Knoxville is about an hour from the house if you are planning to do some tourist things (they have a great outdoor beer garden in town). There is a house being built right next door to this house and its a shame because the view gets a little ruined, but you don't hear them working which is nice. The house is pretty sound proof. All in all, we had a wonderful time there and appreciated the quiet. This house gave us what we needed for this trip and was beautiful!

May trip 2020
Very nice big house. Drive way is a little steep but there is a big loop for parking. The kitchen and living room are great gathering spots. There are so many rooms you will have no problems with a big group. Beware there are a lot of stairs from the dock to the house. But half way through the stairs there is a nice fire pit. Tom was very easy to work with and we would use this place again easily. Great place to stay!

This home was our best trip yet to Norris, loved the wooded lot and great views. Steps to water not too bad and loved the house - had everything we needed and the manager was great.

Enjoyed our stay at the Tennessee Treasure home!
Fantastic stay overall! Isolated and peaceful. The house was pretty with a little bit of noticeable work needed (kitchen floor tile much in need of repair). We had a great time as a family once the two issues we experienced were resolved (given incorrect door entry code and did not receive Wi-Fi access code until requested). The property manager was responsive and professional when helping to resolve both issues. Again, overall we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back in the future.
