My siblings and I traveled with our mom so she could visit her brothers in Kokomo. Janny’s place was the perfect location with ALL the amenities. The pictures just don’t do it justice. She has thought of everything to make you feel comfortable. We felt very special with the sweet treat that was left behind from the local bakery. Her check in instructions were thorough and easy. We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back! I highly recommend staying here if your traveling to the area. This by far has been the best VRBO I have ever stayed in when traveling!

We loved our stay at Mabel & Harry's farmhouse! They've created such a lovely and relaxing space with fantastic attention to details and amenities from the home decor to the s'mores supplies to use at the fire table or fire pit outside. This was our second stay, and we'll definitely be back!

We had a fabulous stay here . I cant say enough how nice, comfortable, cozy yet high end with attention to every detail. Janny was so gracious and has really went above and beyond what any other VRBO i have stayed at with what food items she has stocked , to even a milk frother for our coffee that was divine ! All the furnishings are not only beautiful, but comfortable . I could go on and on about how nice the stay was . We had a family girls weekend from ages 30-77 and couldnt have picked a better place to make our memories. Lots of crafting , eating , shopping and laughing . What a treat for us that we found this place. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here , you will be happy you did !!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. We had the most exceptional visit. The house was impeccably clean and looks like it stepped out of the screen of a HGTV show! Janny was amazing to work with and we will definitely be back every time we come to Indiana to visit family!

Janny is a wonderful host, she is super responsive and hospitable. She even included some unexpected sweet treats for us. It is a beautiful property and does not disappoint. We highly recommend Mabel and Harry's.

OK, so we've stayed at a ton of VRBO properties over the years, but this one was easily our favorite! Gorgeous renovation of a family farmhouse, amazing decor, fully stocked, beautiful grounds with great sunset views, comfy beds, and bathrooms for all! Plus Janny left us an ah-mazing chocolate cake in the fridge! We stayed here with our daughter and her wedding party, and the memories we made will last a lifetime. We all agreed that if something went wrong at the wedding venue we'd have the wedding at Mabel and Harry's in a heartbeat! We would return to Kokomo just to stay in this warm and welcoming home. Thank you, Janny, for sharing it with us!

The house was adorable and spacious. It had all the amenities that you will need.

The farmhouse was just amazing. Every room was decorated in the cutest way. I loved all of the artistic detail. The beds were so comfortable, the seating perfect for watching a movie or playing games. There were tons of dishes, cups and everything you would need! Our only regret was that it was 27 degrees so we didn't get out to enjoy the beautiful deck area and fire pit. Janny made our stay very special and we really enjoyed the special treat she left for us. Everything was perfect and wonderful. We can't wait to come back. You won't regret your choice to stay here. It's amazing.

The place is super cute and immaculately clean. The decor is obviously done by someone who has an eye for detail and the house provides everything you’d need or want. Lotsa spaces to hang out, great outdoor space for a campfire, and the Xmas decorations were so good. Communication with Janny was super prompt and friendly. Highly recommend.

We rented this house for my graduation at IWU. It was beyond perfect, decorated perfectly for Christmas. The decor was the perfect mix between farmhouse and modern, loved it. Every small detail thought of in this rental! If you are considering renting, do it you will not be disappointed!!!

This home was amazing! It was beautifully decorated with all the modern amenities. The host was wonderful to work with. It was so nice to arrive and find special treats and necessities readily available. We were here for a family Christmas and the decorations were beautiful. The house was so inviting, warm, and cozy. Our entire experience was the best we have ever had through VRBO. We will definitley return!

Wow, this was a top-tier guest experience. Janny has crafted a beautiful tribute to her family’s farmhouse with all the modern niceties you could hope for. My fiancée & I chose to celebrate Thanksgiving in a neutral halfway location for our respective families – Mabel & Harry’s Guest House in Kokomo, Indiana was the ideal location & our holiday stay was enough to put any property to the test. Communication: From the reservation to the check-in/out details & property specifics, Janny was excellent. Friendly, specific, detailed, timely & charismatic. Cleanliness: This is among the cleanest & most well cared-for properties I’ve visited. Every detail, from the bathroom tiles & linens to the kitchen surfaces & everything in between, we felt immediately comfortable with how well this home is cleaned & flipped between guests. On top that, every cleaning product imaginable was available and easily accessible, along with two washer/dryer sets. Location: The property itself is a cozy plot of land surrounded by active fields. The trees, fire ring & back patio were wonderful gathering places. The home is a few short minutes from the highway, making access simple. While Kokomo (about a 7-minute drive) isn’t a destination city, it’s extremely convenient having shopping & dining nearby if you need to get out for a bit. There are also beautiful trails along the water in the downtown area for those looking to run/walk. Accuracy of listing: What’s published online is what you can expect – there’s no studio magic. In addition to the beautiful spaces, the home was decorated for Christmas, complete with lights, candles, pillows, blankets, sleigh bells, a giant Christmas tree & seasonal crafts available for sale – these personal touches really added to the ambiance. What isn’t captured is how well-appointed this home is. From TVs in nearly every room to endless board/card games & firewood, Janny thought of every detail & delivered. This is also the most well-stocked rental kitchen I’ve ever seen. Excellent appliances, quality cookware from Sur La Table, plenty of spices and basics & treats from local suppliers (butter, cream, baked goods, coffee, etc.), Janny had everything needed for great meals (including a giant, traditional Thanksgiving feast!) All in all, I cannot compliment Mabel & Harry’s enough. A wonderful property full of value-added surprises in every corner. If you’re looking for a rural retreat, you won’t find a better spot in middle America.

This is our 2nd stay for our girls craft weekend. The details in this house are spectacular. Janny is the perfect host. We plan on keep coming back!

When I reached out to Janny about my idea of hosting an Adoptive Mother retreat at Mabel & Harry’s she was instantly excited and willing to have us. My participants and I felt totally welcomed by the amenities and the complete beauty of the house. I cannot recommend this VRBO or Janny high enough. 100/10 stars! I’m planning to book again early next year :)

We stayed at this house for my wedding weekend with my bridal party and it could not have been more perfect! The house was stunning and so functional for my large group. Janny left us so many yummy snacks and a huge cake and just made the stay so sweet and personalized. We are already talking about coming back next fall for a couples getaway! If you're thinking about staying here, DO IT🥰

We stayed at this house for my daughter wedding in Kokomo. We walked in this house and it was absolutely breathtaking. It was decorated so beautifully. Everything we needed was there. the location was great, peaceful and quiet but minutes away from town. The hostess Janny was awesome, the kitchen had breakfast foods, snacks, drinks and she got us a cake (which was so good). Janny gave us great communication on things in the house, and had a board with local places. All furniture was so cozy, beds were great and the pillows omg where did you get those pillows? This house is amazing with a great host, it’s over 5 stars. Thank you again Janny for a wonderful stay.

We have stayed at many many vacation rentals over the years. Mabel and Harry’s exceeds every expectation. 10 stars!

Our family and friends stayed at Mable and Harry’s for our son’s wedding weekend. Not enough stars to rate the property and property owner and we absolutely loved our stay! The house is charming, beautifully decorated, and equipment with everything and more that you could possibly need. Janny was a delight to communicate with and the “little touches/treats” she provided were appreciated and enjoyed! We hope to have the opportunity to stay at the house again someday.

The house, deck and yard are beautiful. It is a peaceful place with great attention given to details for comfort. Having several gathering places was especially nice for our planning sessions. Our hostess was fantastic to work with!

Beautiful, quiet place, clean and exactly as pictured- even more cute and peaceful in person! I was there with coworkers for a work trip and I'm sorry we didn't get to actually be in the house more to fully enjoy it! Can't recommend enough. Host was lovely, communicative and left thoughtful touches and a bakery gift, which we devoured. If ever in the area will absolutely stay again!

This was our second year at Mabel and Harry's and it was just as wonderful as the first. It's a beautiful, peaceful home with thoughtful touches from a lovely host. Easy to get to spots in town (check out the pool!). The layout is great for family or group of friends. We had 3 kids under 3 and they loved the yard and large back room. Already planning our next visit.
