The pictures don't come close to showing how beautiful this view is. Being on the ground floor, it allowed freedom to easily bbq, go to the pool, use the grounds for recreation and walk the beach. This is an amazing place. Scott was amazing at replying to any questions or needs we had before or during our stay. The place was very comfortable and clean. Thank you for such a great vacation spot.

Great location, steps away from pool and beach. Beautiful sunsets you can watch right from the lanai. Kitchen has everything you’ll need! Blender for drinks, fridge is big, ice maker too! Pool cups! Espresso machine. All the extras that make it even better. Beach chairs to sit on beach. I recommend renting snorkel gear and the snorkel stuff wasn’t good. But that’s very minor. Lots of towels, beach and bath! Beds are good. Hide a bed in living room is as comfy as a hide a bed would be. Easy to drive anywhere on island, we went up to Kaanapali a few times and down to Mākena beach as well. Everything is close, parking is so easy at location. Always a spot to park. No parking fee like the big resorts. Pool is good, basic but all you need. Hot tub was great. Lots of beach chairs and usually could get a spot any time throughout day. Bbq was easy to access. People are friendly, some that have come back to this spot many, many times. Saw several turtles on the beach, whales breaching from shore. I must say for a first time Maui traveller that drove all over the island this location was great and I would definitely recommend. Just an easy access, easy drive from airport. Love the ground level convenience.

I’m always interested to stay someplace that has a 10 rating. Overall a decent place but not really close to a 10. Location is excellent for families with kiddos. Ground floor unit was nice for us. Close to the pool and the ocean. Unfortunately we were met with too many negatives; the wifi password is wrong and is an issue if you don’t have international data on your phone to sort it out. The property manager didn’t respond to messages and required multiple attempts to get a response. When we arrived; the outside light didn’t work, the espresso machine is broken, the bathroom light was flickering like a horror movie and the outside patio tile was broken making a sharp hazard for our kiddos. Overall poor upkeep and maintenance overall. Lastly, they have a time limit on the AC unit meaning if you want to sleep comfortably at night you have to get up once or twice to reset the AC, good thing Maui never gets hot or humid. Chatting with others staying as the same resort you can likely contact Maui Sunset to save some costs.
