Great location. Quirky decorations. Helpful host who provided lots of suggestions for activities and restaurants.

The location was great though when we arrived at night it was difficult walking the dark streets from the airport bus stop. There were many good restaurants within walking distance as well as the Fish markets & Piazza Duomo. The apartment was well set up for an enjoyable stay.
The stairscould be a concern for some travellers

The place was super cute with its yellow SMEG fridge and barber-themed accessories. The kitchen was well-stocked with pans, silverware, microwave, fridge, plates, etc. The bathroom was beautiful, and the shower was huge for Italy. The location of this place could not be beat - right downtown in the thick of everything.
One side of the bed was not flat - it tilted toward the floor so that it felt like you would fall out. We don't know if the bed was broken or the reason, but it made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Also, because space was at a premium, there was only one comfortable chair in the "living room."

The location was amazing - right in the historic centre of the city in a beautiful old building. The apartment was small but everything was beautiful and the owner had left lots of little treats for us. It was well furnished and had up to date appliances.
Even in June, Catania is a party town and some night the party went on and on. So, it could be a bit noisy.

"Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, als wären wir da zu Hause. Mitten im Geschehen aber kaum Autoverkehr und gute Fenster. Alles sehr sauber und angenehm. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin. Würden wir so..."
