California Saigon Hotel

The location is great. The rooftop pool open until midnight ( they turn the lights off at midnight but there’s nothing stopping you from staying up there!) Large king sized bed was comfy. Friendly staff at front door.

This is not a 4 star hotel. It looks nice outside but the rooms and inside areas like restaurant and bathroom next to restaurant is old and dirty and scruffy. My bedroom vanity unit and floor in bathroom was scuffed and dirty with heaps of marks. Also they give you a kettle but nowhere to plug it into - the bathroom PowerPoint was only for the hairdryer and when someone came up to help I had to squeeze the kettle onto the bedside table

It looks very grand which it is, with good service, breakfast, comfortable rooms and the location is perfect. I left my luggage there while I went travelling and on my return (which I had booked earlier for two more nights), I found I had mistakenly booked their sister hotel, also called California Saigon hotel some distance away. This one is called CALIFORNIA SAIGON (With rooftop pool), so I wasn't the only person to get it wrong!! Anyway, they found a room for us and the other California Saigon, didn't charge me Loved the rooftop pool and chill out area. Essential when coping with the high humidity

The coffee was like treakle, but easily watered down!!

The staff were excellent, very helpful.

Breakfast buffet. Cooked food always ran out and was not replenished.
