Lovely property in a perfect location. Secure parking was a bonus. Would definitely return.

Beds were a little soft for our preference. We all felt that a longer stay might have left us with back ache, but other guests might not agree.

lot of stairs, so not ideal for anyone with limited mobility. no conditioner even though it states there is. I didn’t take any as I thought there would be some. it would be a nice touch if some milk was left in the fridge for a cuppa when you arrive.

We've stayed in various properties in Topsham & Frog Palace is head & shoulders above them all. The beds are super-comfty, the kitchen is spacious & well equipped &, most importantly for Topsham, the parking is generous and easy to navigate.

We liked everything!

Spacious, comfortable accommodation with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped. The courtyard parking was large enough for our Vauxhall Meriva, and a real bonus for Topsham. Topsham and the area absolutely beautiful and so well connected by train if you wanted to leave the car at home and mix and match walking. Great eateries there too!

We had a few issues over identification, key-pad access and a low-battery beeping alarm, when we ideally needed to speak to someone immediately.....

The property is really well located and within easy walking distance of pubs and restaurants. Topsham is well catered for when it comes to eating out. There are many nice walks that can be done from the property or within a short distance on the avocet trainline, so you don't even need to get in your car. The property itself is well kitted out - lovely big bright kitchen and cosy bedrooms.

The only small watch out is the parking. we have a relatively small car (a Hyundai ioniq), and it was still really tricky to get it into the parking spot which is quite awkward to get into from a narrow side road. I also thought it felt a bit unfair that because we booked through booking.com we weren't allowed into the property until 5pm whereas if you book direct it's 3pm. I think 3 or 4pm should be standard.

Location was fab, everything was in walking distance. Beautiful kitchen diner, Lovely house in general. Area to walk your dog just down the road from the house not even 5 mins away.

Unfortunately the Wifi was not very good, we were trying to look at areas/houses to buy but found it very slow. There is also no way of keeping the dog downstairs in the kitchen as there is no door on kitchen to hall, or a stair gate at the bottom of the stairs. Obviously keeping the bedroom doors shut prevents a dog going in to the bedrooms . And no little grass area for a dog to do its business. Blind in upstairs bedroom not thick/dark enough to keep daylight out, alright if you are early riser ☺

Location was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was lovely and light and airy. Lounge was cosy and snug.

Road noise so couldn’t have windows open. Some of the lights did not work, no bulbs available. Sofas badly stained. One way system not explained so locals not happy.

Topsham is charming and Frog Palace was close to the River It was well converted and was suitable to our needs for three adults We could squeeze two small cars into the parking space

The master bedroom was noisy with traffic at night and in the morning. The master bed was uncomfortable. Unlike the rest of the house which was in good order the bathroom needed decorating It would have been much nicer and in keeping with the rest of the property if the garage was clean and tidy
