My family and I recently stayed at this property for our yearly vacation. The house is close to beaches, state parks, and other things to do. You are far enough from the city but close enough for store runs for anything you need. This is a great property and we look forward to staying again in the future.

This house was exactly what our family needed for a perfect vacation. We primarily came to the area to see the Redwoods in the National and State parks, but this location also made it easy to reach the beaches at Trinadad, Eureka, and of course the hidden gem of Sue Meg State Park that was less than a mile away. We were really happy to discover this park that we hadn't known existed before. The family also greatly enjoyed the amazing flower garden, (the hummingbirds were skittish, but easy to see with a little patience) a friendly cat, and a very chill firepit/circle. If we come back to visit this area again, I'll probably try to book this house again, as I can't see doing better than this.

This home exceeded our expectations!

We loved our stay at the delightful Seawoods Farmhouse. The grounds are utterly amazing complete with an awesome fire pit area for smores with the kiddos and an abundance of beautiful coastal plants and flowers everywhere. The house was comfortable and spotless upon arrival. The home sleeps a lot of people and is well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Seawoods Farmhouse and don't forget to bring some carrots for the kids to feed the miniature donkey's and goats nearby.

The garden was beautiful, loved the outdoor area.

We loved this space so much! It was on a secluded street. We could see the ocean through the trees across the street. The farm animals were a favorite for the kids and the teenagers loved the game room in the barn loft. The beds were comfortable and we would definitely recommend this rental to anyone!

Listing is very true to what the property is like. Very beautiful and clean, quiet. Lots of places for a mixed group to sleep. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedding is warm and comfortable.

Bait & switch - works well for 6 NOT 8, if 2 children . Beds small for 2 persons in small bdrms. Owner neglect w/ dangerous conditions in stairs, lack of exterior lighting to entrance (& poor directions given dangerous 1 way road from south) and dry rot in 2 bathrooms, no sink water for hand washing, ample parking (but not permitted), no sand in house rules but no sand cleaning set up (door mats interior, shower/rinse exterior) -- owner demands behaviors but no compliance supplies; no kleenex, no d/w soap, 1 trash bag, for 5 night stay.
If properly advertised as 2+ BD, 1-1/2 ba, for up to 4 adults + 2 children (4 teens at- a squeeze) would be accurate, Sleeps 8, 3 BD 2BA is overblown. claimed 3 bd is a walk in closet; 3 beds are in LR w/o table lamps or curtains--futon & trundle bed.
Very clean, open kitchen/dining area/family room in secluded farm atmosphere; kids enjoy separate game room, but steep steps and low A frame ceilings reduce utility if over 12.

Overall this property was great. And would have got a full 5 stars that it deserves. A few items brought it down to four stars for us. There should be some revisions to the descriptions:
1. It lists three bedrooms, whereas strictly there are two. There is a room (without windows) where a bunk-bed has been placed for two to sleep - it is very small (there is barely space to move), and it is like a large storage room rather than a bedroom. I doubt it is "code compliant" as far as bedrooms go.
2. There are good sleeping arrangements in the living room (3+), but there are no curtains on the windows, so moonlight and early morning sunlight gets in, and if someone wants to sleep in any of the mornings, it would not work for them.
3. The grill is not usable. While we could overlook external appearances, there is accumulated ash, and the grill grates are rusted, bent and some broken. We were afraid to clean it lest some of the parts fall apart.
4. There is significant mold in each of the bathrooms (wood floors in bathrooms rarely work), and it is quite possible the mold goes deep into the woodwork of the house. May be an issue for guests with asthma (or related issues), luckily for us, it was not a problem.
Other than the above, it was a fabulous property. There are very sweet animals on the property who keep to themselves (our kids went and made friends with the goats and donkeys). It is quiet, and walking distance from the Sue-Meg park entrance.
The house is beautiful, and the plants around it lush. The rest of the arrangements were good. Not luxurious, but functional, and honest. We loved our stay there.
We would be back, hopefully after there have been some adjustments around the house.

This property could not possibly be any more charming. We had lots of space for the kids to run around, play in the game room and feed the animals. The mini donkeys and goats were the highlight of our trip. There’s a charming little market an exit or two away on the freeway. The house is in a pretty secluded little area. We arrived after dark and got a little turned around while finding it. Once we did, we were extremely comfortable and content.

The Farmhouse is set in beautiful grounds with gardens, an orchard, a hobby farm. Though close and on the road to Patrick's Point State Park, it's quiet and private. House was immaculate on arrival, comfortable beds, plenty of linens, pillows and bedding. Note: the water view is of a pond, not the ocean, and the third bedroom with the bunks is a big closet with only enough room for the beds. One bathroom has no flat space other than the toilet and a high shelf that this height challenged couple couldn't reach. We moved a stool in from the kitchen to have a place to put our toiletry kit. Animals are fun and friendly! There's a big deck for sitting when the weather's good.
Unfortunately, when we were there, we had problems with lack of communication and follow through on Vacasa's part. We had one kitchen trash bag when we arrived and 2 dishwasher pods for a 6 day stay. When I called to ask where others might be, I was informed they only provided starter supplies and guests were expected to provide more. 1 trash bag for a 6 day stay? We were granted an "exception" and promised more trash bags and another 2 dishwasher pods the next day. They didn't show up. At this point I went to the owner who lives on the property and begged a couple of garbage bags. We called and were promised the pods within 30 minutes. Then 25 minutes later, "Could I bring it first thing tomorrow?" They didn't show. This was Day 3 after the first call. We actually waited at the house for these deliveries which delayed some of our personal outings. Why didn't we just go out and buy these things ourselves? Because they said they would provide them.
By the way, the owner was great, not her fault. The house is lovely and comfortable, definitely worth a stay. Just think Vacasa should be upfront that guests should bring extra trash bags, TP, paper towels if they're staying more than a few days. And trust that all the delays and misinformation were glitches and not Vacasa's normal response.

Overall, a great place to stay. House was clean & comfortable, grounds were lush and in springtime bloom which was lovely. Getting to feed the donkeys & goats was fun and I fell in love with the cat Paisley, so friendly and so soft.
Just a few items for the suggestion box.
For the kitchen, would recommend a cookie sheet/baking pan & regular kitchen tongs (not bbq). Some solar lights along the path from the parking area would be great for when guests forget to turn on the porch light and come home in the dark.
The 2nd bedroom needs at least one nightstand with a lamp. Having to turn off the overhead light at the door and make your way into bed in the pitch black without stubbing a toe was tricky. The TV sound wasn't too good and living room could use some lighting other than just the overhead. All small things but wanted to mention them.

We loved our week’s stay! The beach-themed farmhouse was beautiful, extremely clean, so comfortable and well stocked. The grounds are large and gorgeous, complete with apple trees, friendly donkeys, goats and cat, game room, volley ball, pond, etc. Very close to Sue-Meg State Park and beaches. The only suggestion we have is a map showing how to get to the farmhouse once you arrive at the entrance of the property.

Our family loved spending a long weekend at this property. The house and ground are both lovely, and we all enjoyed playing with the goats, donkeys, and chickens. When we had a little bit of trouble finding something around 8pm, the response was very quick and helpful. We are planning to return soon!
