We had a great stay here. The place is very clean and in a very nice neighborhood. We enjoyed taking walks down to mirror lake in the late afternoon.(even saw bear and deer in the neighborhood) Its in a beautiful location and only 5 minutes to town. Hailey was a fantastic host and she was so easy to deal with. She was extremely nice and communicated with us during our stay. The hot tub and large TVs were awesome. I would recommend staying here. Thank you Hailey -Hope to stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was very clean and had all of the necessities. The beds were comfortable and my boys loved the hot tub and smart TVs. It was a very convenient location and communication with the host was great! I would definitely recommend!

The host communicated with us before, during and after which made us feel very taken care of. Upon arrival there was a bottle of wine for our anniversary, which was a nice touch. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved using the hot tub and having a fire while also watching a movie. We had a few fires in the living room as well and one in the fire pit. Having multiple options for wood burning fires was great. Especially since the temps are cool enough at night in the summer to really enjoy them. The beds were also very comfortable. There are plenty of pillows and blankets. The kids loved the swing out back and the s’mores we made in the fire. There really isn’t anything negative to say about this place. It’s a beautiful neighborhood and we were able to take walks every day. Mirror Lake is close by for fishing or kayaking. My husband caught a huge trout on his first try. Be careful leaving the neighborhood though. The road is narrow since you’re in the mountains, and sometimes we had to let another car leave first, but we expected this because of location. All in all we’d stay here again and would definitely recommend!

From the moment that you walk in the cabin, we felt peace and calm. There was music playing and a bottle of wine waiting for us. We enjoyed being so close to Cashiers and Highlands, but had a haven to return to at night after walking all day!

Hailey is an awesome, caring host. A birthday balloon and wine were provided for my husband's birthday. We would definitely stay here again. I do suggest only driving there in daylight. Curvy roads and some are just 1 lane. Door from carport into house has 2 steps. Could use a handle. Gravel driveway is short, but should fit 2 cars. Two roomy, comfy king BRs. Two avg size bathrooms - one off primary BR, with tub/shower/2 sinks. The other has tub/shower/1 sink and is across the hall from other BR. Fluffy towels. Stackable W/D in closet of 2nd BR worked fine for 2 swimsuits/2 beach towels. Very comfortable seating options in living room. Ceiling fans in bedrooms, living room and kitchen. A/C, heat and wi-fi worked fine. Lots of kitchen counter space. Ice cream scoop, leftover containers, salt & pepper, tea bags, etc provided. Large back deck. Screen porch off the dining area. Heavy plastic was over most of the screens, which kept the wind and rain out. Very private with so many trees around. Hot tub has 2 scooped out seats, which were a little tricky to get in, but comfortable. Be careful walking around the hot tub. There are 2 stone steps next to hot tub that we had to navigate to take lid off hot tub and then put it back. We both tripped, but did not fall. Yellow caution tape and lights shining on the steps, might possibly help. Gorgeous stone floor. Lighting was dim in home, so we moved lamps around to work on a puzzle & to read. Yes, we totally recomend!

This home is a great place for a stay in Highlands. Close to downtown and in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was so nice, clean, and organized. We loved the back porch room ! The kitchen is equpped with anything you might need should, you decide to cook. Lots of great restaurants in the area and we enjoyed a day venturing out to Franklin and Cashiers . Hailey is an absolute amazing host! The best!

Hailey was the best host!!! And the house was amazing. The online pictures do not do it justice, in my opinion. While the house is in a neighborhood, it was super quiet and very private. Literally, everything was perfect! We plan to return in the future. Thanks, Hailey, for allowing us to stay!
