The views and the house itself has a lot of charm. This is however ruined by the fact that lights and appliances are not well maintained and the house, specially the kitchen and kitchenware were very dirty.

We stayed in this house for a few days and there are several things that did not work; we were unable to switch on the gas heater in the living room; the hot tub on the terrace had an error message and there were no proper instructions on how to deal with it. We were unable to connect to any TV streaming Apps on the tv downstairs; the microwave did not have the crystal dish that rotates. We contacted the property support contact provided (Tina) on the second day to discuss these issues and never heard back (we left a voice message). Our main issue with the property was the lack of cleaning: we had to re-wash many of the pots and pans we used. There were bugs sticking to the lights of the kitchen exhaust. The cleaning fee applied is outrageous for the state in which the property is handed. There was plenty of dirt under the sofas and tables. By reading the reviews left in “evolve”, maintenance and cleaning seem to be a common complaint by many guests. Furthermore, it was snowing almost every day and, although the streets were regularly cleared, the driveway to the property was not cleared of snow by the house keepers during our full stay. Despite having a four by four vehicle, we were unable to drive the driveway when leaving the house the last day and had to call a tow crew to help us out which cost us several hundred dollars. In the meantime, the housekeepers/contact for the property were (again) not reachable and did not help us.
