The apartment was located in a central district, very easy for restaurants and also easy access to the local buses that I used a lot. Although the city centre and the airport are close, there was no noise problem at all. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything you need. There are several smaller supermarkets nearby and a larger one about 10 minutes walk away. The host, Rafaela was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I thoroughly recommend the apartment as a wonderful place to stay

La atención con Rafaela excepcional en todo momento, incluso nos facilitó mucha información de lugares y restaurantes antes de llegar. El alojamiento está muy bien situado en pleno centro de Ponta Delgada, y es un buen lugar para después moverse por toda la isla. Hay una zona de aparcamiento gratuita muy cerca, lo cual hace fácil aparcar en la zona. Se trata de un apartamento renovado en la segunda planta de un edificio antiguo (no tiene ascensor). La cocina está muy bien equipada con todo lo necesario.

La habitación principal es exterior en una calle muy transitada, y alguna noche nos despertamos por los ruidos de afuera. También se oían bastante durante la noche las pisadas de los vecinos del otro piso. La cama y el sofá cama no son del todo cómodos.

Céntrico y con todo lo necesario. Toallas para las termas incluidas, café, detergente lavadora, aceite, etc..

The apartment is next to some (very noisy) bars. Since it's an old building you can hear everything (including neighbours) which has the result that we didn't sleep well. You can tell that the appartement is in an old building. It is pretty humid, musty and warm inside the apartment. The water from the shower is unpredictable: can take a long time for warm water to flow, but can be hot very suddenly. Water pressure also changes. Be aware that parking and getting to the apartment by car isn't easy: very narrow 'one-way' streets. You must be lucky to find a parking spot in front of the apartment: it is paid parking and there's definitely some risk others cars damage yours because the street is very narrow. There's free parking at the very end of the street but this is roughly a 7 minute walk. The wifi was a bit slow too. These are all traits of the apartment that the host can't really be blamed for, but be aware of these disadvantages.
