The chalet is beautifully built, lovely kitchen, great views, wonderful host. 10 minute walk to the gondola, 2 minute walk to the ski bus stop. the kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub was very nice after a day of skiing. Plenty of beds and room. The chalet itself is gorgeous, and has views of the mountains. It was a little tricky to find in the dark when we arrived but would have been easy during the day. It was quiet and gorgeous. We ate yummy bakery treats every morning. The village is super cute and walkable. We had a great stay with family. The hosts were great and easy to communicate with.

Our family got in late on Saturday evening after a very long day of traveling all the way from Oregon. We have been spoiled in the past with having a couple days worth of hand soap and toilet paper, usually even mini bottles of shampoo at almost all places we have ever stayed. There was a very very small roll of toilet paper (barely enough for 9 people to pee once) and no soap in any of the bathrooms. We had 9 people staying there. We had to go look for theses things early the next morning but most shops are closed on Sunday. I thought maybe it was a cultural thing but then other places in France did have theses things. It’s the little things that can make a big difference especially after a very long trip. The host was very kind and lovely and was very flexible with us about our cash deposit as we had not even stopped to get Euros yet. Next time I would just pack toilet paper, hand soap in our bags.

Lovely chalet, really well kitted out, and comfortable. Hostess was great, meeting us and showing us round the chalet, which was immaculately clean. Very handy for town, a three minute walk.

The description, nor photos, mention the neighbouring chalet which is very close indeed to the front of L'Hibiscus and takes away part of the view.
