Perfect location for visiting Kedleston Hall and Derby. Easy to find. Plenty of secure, off-road parking. Friendly owners. Huge apartment, homely & cosy. Very quiet. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Excellent continental breakfast. Lovely local pub within 5 mins walk serving super food.

Our stay was brilliant and definitely exceeded expectations. The property is huge and beautifully decorated, and Angela was incredibly welcoming and helpful (she even ironed my boyfriend’s shirt for him!). We were attending a wedding at Kedleston Country House so the location was perfect for us.

The main bathroom was accessed through the second bedroom . There was a separate toilet but downstairs. No cooking facility just a kettle

Absolutely love this property. Everything about this place was great, lovely setting in the countryside with great views, very quiet and pretty as a picture. From the minute we got there and were greeted by Angela, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Very spacious and clean with a lovely breakfast in the morning. And very good value for money and definitely worth a visit.

Everything about the Old Croft Stables was outstanding. I couldn't give one bad mark on it. The owner of the apartment was so lovely and couldn't do enough for you, the apartment itself was beautiful. Even down to feeling secure with electric gates to the drive of the apartment.

The host, Angela, was efficient and very informative and welcoming. We would definately stay again if we were in the area. The continental breakfast was lovely.

The place was immaculate, the décor very tasteful and the hosts incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a nice extra!

So amazingly stylish, full of quirky objects d’art, books and movie posters. all put together with such an eye for detail. We loved it!!

Really cosy and comfortable home from home. Breakfast was a lovely bonus. I can't believe how good value the accommodation was compared to a city hotel and much much nicer to stay in for a wedding nearby. Angela was a great host.

I loved the style the stables were decorated, very different combination of new and old, done extremely well. Beds were very comfortable and lovely bedding. Angela brought us a gorgeous continental breakfast of fresh croissants, fresh fruit and toast.

Nothing I didn’t like and we will be back. Perfect base for exploring Derbyshire
