Nice quiet location for our weekend stay. Comfortable and clean.

The location and the caravan were perfect. The caravan was spotless and the host extremely communicative and very helpful. We were able to do everything we'd envisaged and more. The caravan is very well equipped with all appliances and equipment you'd expect to find at home. The bed was comfortable and bed linen smelt lovely. Not a single negative about this caravan.

The complex (read as park) was well laid out but, signage was terrible and needs a drastic re-think, in my opinion. The Merlin and the facilities within are horrendously expensive and a very long way from value for money. £72 for a fish and chips and a rack of ribs and two drinks is insulting, especially when the food turned up. We also did not like the distrust aspect of having to leave a deposit for a plastic glass when we're sitting at a table; something else you need to review. The prices in The Shop made us flinch and yes, a great amount of useful stock but, the prices are exorbitant.

The caravan was further out from the main facilities of Tattershall lakes but we personally enjoyed this as it was much quieter. There was a river just to the left which you could walk along and it had great views of the RAF planes coming in. It had all the facilities we needed and Lynne was a great host asking any questions we needed.

The comfort of the settee, firm to sit on. The comfort of the bed, again reasonably firm. The lighting in the lounge was nice and bright when it was required to be on.

Not a lot of room when trying to sit on the toilet. The gate at the top of the steps is too close to the door, causing conflicting moves.
