I read the reviews before and I was a little worried about the place. It exceeded my expectations because it’s very central, with all basic facilities and friendly staff. The room was large and well decorated. As I traveled in October, no problem with heat in thr room, neither with loud neighbours. Yes it’s facing the street, but it’s an old town in Portugal. It’s a part of the charm to be in those narrow streets full of history. I liked it and I would return with pleasure.
I would have wished to leave a suitcase for few hours. The check out is 11 am , quite early, and my transport was leaving 8 pm. Impossible to roll suitcase on those streets.
Would be en easy upgrade for the hostel.

Great location, vintage furniture and vibes. VERY COMFORTABLE bed! Slept like a baby.
Was not possible to left window open for a fresh air. Kitchen is asking for some renovation.

The location was excellent. It was friendly and cozy. The room was exactly as in pictures.
Noisy, as some reviewers said. We had to open the windows because of heat and it opened into the street.

Easy to access although someone had our room when we arrived but we found another with a key in. We were very late. Think there was an error about room numbers. It’s basic but good enough for the one night we stayed. Room quite quirky which I loved. Thin walls so don’t cough too loud otherwise you’ll wake the house.
I wouldn’t want to stay for a week but the location is great.
