The property is as described, lovely features and fantastic views. I really enjoyed my stay and was able to extend it. There are lots of walks in and around the area. 5 min drive to Tealby village or you can walk.

Nothing I didn’t like but it would benefit from some blinds or curtains, particularly in the bedroom.

The view is incredible and a real highlight of the property. The kitchen is well-equipped and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of hot water for the elegant slipper bath.

Pros: Quirky accommodation with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. Great use of recycled materials. Good communication with the property manager Louise who responded very promptly to queries Comfortable bed

Cons: Room for improvement in the kitchen facilities. Very little thought has gone into the practicalities. There is no cupboard or shelf space to put anything though plenty of space where shelves could be placed. The work surface is very limited due to being occupied by multiple small appliances. There was an electric portable hob which was incredibly slow to heat and difficult to keep water at a constant boil to cook pasta. Due to the lack of surface area this has to be placed ON the enormous Esse wood cooker. We did not even attempt to use this due to the warm weather. Sockets above the wood stove which would be scary to use if the wood stove was hot! Otherwise the other sockets were difficult to access for charging phones etc. Despite being in a rural location, it's not that peaceful outside during the day due to fairly constant traffic noise from the nearby main road. The bath in the bedroom is a fun idea but as there is no walk-in shower, this property isn't suitable for people with mobility issues; my husband nearly got stuck in the bath and we had to be creative to extract him!
