Nice town, glad we didn't stay in Honolulu with the crowds. Home is nice and just right size to crash out at in the evenings. Was able to walk to beach, downtown areas and still had a place to park car for day trips. Owner is very approachable and helpful if you need anything. Had a really nice time and would recommend it. We enjoyed a relaxing week of family vacation at this home in Kailua. The small home in the backyard of the property was a great size for us (2 adults and 1 teen). It felt generally quiet and private. The kitchen was lovely and functional. We appreciated the condiments and other items that were there when we arrived. Everything was very clean. We appreciated the little outdoor space for sitting, sunbathing, and eating. We appreciated the location for short walks to the beach and to groceries/shopping/restaurants. The owner was very responsive and helpful. There were some beach toys we could use, and we were also allowed to use the grill in the yard. Thank you for having us!

We had a great stay at this Kailua Beach cottage. We spent our days hiking and sight seeing, so this was perfect for us to come home to relax. The location was great - town was about a half mile away so we walked there each night for dinner. There were many shops and restaurants - it even had a Target and a Whole Foods in case you really needed something! The beautiful Kailua Beach was also about a half mile away, so you could walk to the Kalapawai Market for food and then head straight to the beach. Lanikai Beach and the Pillbox trail were just a quick drive. It was also centrally located on the island so it was very easy to get around. The cottage was very clean. Everything was new - the kitchen, the bathroom and the generous washer and dryer. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you would need. The beds were large and comfortable. There were 3 A/C units that worked very well. There was also an outside area with some chairs to relax in. Kelly was very responsive and quickly answered my texts. My only suggestion is that it could use new beach chairs , but I would definitely return here!

Check-in was smooth and easy and everything was as advertised. Very clean, very walkable, about 10 minutes to downtown Kailua and about 20 minutes to beach at a leisurely pace. Parking was tight compared to what we are used to, we were glad to be in a compact vehicle. We would happily stay here again.

My family of 4 had a great stay here. The home has comfortable beds, a nice kitchen with dishwasher, and an absolutely perfect location walking distance from both beach and stores. We would love to come back!

The cottage was just as described and seen in the pictures. Decor was very calming. Less than a mile to the beach, less than a mile to town. Very convenient. Lots of light and sliding doors for fresh air. I would definitely recommend this place.

The property is in a wonderful location, and the hostess was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great experience. The location was fantastic with an easy walk to Kailua town and Kailua Beach Park. Kelly and her family were wonderful hosts, and made us feel like part of their ohana. The unit was well appointed, with modern appliances and well thought amenities to help on trips to the beach. We will certainly come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Kelly's property-- the house was airy, filled with light, new, very clean, and comfortable. The location is central to Kailua and makes walking to anything (beach, farmer's market, Hibachi poke) so easy. Kelly is communicative and very helpful, AND there is an enormous fluffy bunny running around the yard. So many great things. :)

We had a great time. The house was sparkling clean and fully stocked. We could walk to the beach and to Kailua town. The kids went to the beach and we went to Starbucks in the morning. We already booked a few days to return this summer. Thanks for the great experience in Kailua!

We loved our stay here. Walking distance to the shops, tucked way in a peaceful location. Near to the beach. The property was immaculate and very comfortable. More than happy to recommend this as a great base to explore the beautiful area.
