My kids said this was the best place they've ever stayed in, and they've stayed in five star hotels before, not just Premier Inns!
It was a really nice little house in the traditional style but with all the facilities of a modern home. It was pretty clean and spacious, too.
Our stay in this lovely house in a peaceful neighbourhood was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.
Registering at the office nearby felt a little inconvenient at first, but we got to drop our bags off and they were delivered to the house by 6pm free of charge. So in the end, it actually worked out better than just being able to show up at the property directly.

very practical for a family
We didn’t understand that we had to do the check in in another location. So we walked to the accommodation and then to the check-in location, and then back to the accommodation again. Check-in was just paying the local tax. It’s not practical at all!!!
Careful it’s close to “a station”
not Kyoto Station!
