Wim en Anja ontvingen ons zeer hartelijk. Alles wat je kan bedenken was aanwezig. Een fantastisch ontbijt met warme broodjes en verse sinaasappelsap op de tijd van je voorkeur. Slechts een half uur rijden van Amsterdam.

Located in an eco area close to cycle paths and plenty of nature. Room was very clean and comfortable, private access and shared well equipped kitchen. Breakfasts were amazing with fresh croissants and rolls, delicious homemade preserves, yoghurt, fruit juice or smoothie, different cheese & meat selection daily, boiled/baked or egg wrap and fresh fruit.

Both owners were very nice and helpful. Luxury suites Osterwold is the place to go, if you want to rest. It is so quiet...The lanscape in nice too, for those who like flat fields of course Very good breakfast, that you can have in your bedroom Going to Amsterdam by train is also very simple I Highly recommend

What a wonderful place. I live in Almere city, didn't even know this part of town existed, and it was shocking (in a good way) to find peace, quiet, woods, birdsong in "my town." I rested wonderfully. Also, the breakfasts!!! I told Anja she should have an Instagram accounts just to show those off, delicious food made into art. We're in the middle of a bathroom renovation and after the noise, the dirt, the constant privacy invasion – we basically live in the living room while multiple people bang up and down the stairs – this mini-break was heaven. All my stress came off. Comfort, healing, recovery – I sound all new-age, but that was what I needed and I got it. On the first nights the sky was cloudy – only when we were departing the sky cleared, and, as I expected, I saw ALL the stars, there is no light pollution. The biggest "complaint" I can come up with is that I had to push hard at the door to open it and I wasn't aware the kitchenette was shared (not that I saw anyone else in it). So, only 9.99 instead of 10 ;) Can't wait to go back, honestly, wish I could have stayed for weeks.

While it is possible to come with public transport and either a long walk or bike, at night it will be DARK. The fact that there's no light pollution also means no street lights or lots of doors to knock on and ask for the way. So be aware of that. Also, if you're coming because you think you're close to Amsterdam and want to go to parties, this is a really, really bad spot to pick. So, come by car or taxi, or make sure you arrive and leave during the day, unless you've been there before or have my husband's courage ;) Also, I don't smoke, but this was a surprise – you can't smoke either inside or *outside*. Bear that in mind, too. For me that was a positive.
