Stunning location. Very well appointed and owners very considerately left some welcome goodies. Previous reviews have mentioned the stairs but they really aren’t that bad. The car guards at the top kept a parking space clear for us and carried all our luggage down and back up again for a modest tip.

The location is exceptional. The views are stunning and the photos don’t do it justice. The sun balcony enjoys the sun for the vast majority of the day until sunset. Two of the three bedrooms are spacious - all three have excellent en-suite facilities

The 3rd bedroom is a little on the small side but has amazing views - this is the only bedroom with air con. It would be great if during load shedding an inverter kicked in to ensure you’re not in the dark - battery lights were provided.

The location and the view is stunning, perfectly positioned to get into Cape Town and Camps Bay.

As with most Villas on Clifton Bay it is tricky getting suitcases from the road down to the front door, but there is nothing that can be done about this and it did not ruin the trip at all

Anton is a beautiful host! He welcomed us at 10pm and showed us his beautiful Apartment. The view from this apartment is great and you can hear the ocean from every lovely room. The apartment has everything you need and more. The beach is a 2 min walk downstairs.

Location and spectacular views

What a little stunner of a spot! Every possible detail has been considered, and we were welcomed by a lovely fruit basket as well as a fridge stocked with some basic (and not-so-basic) goodies and groceries to get us going. The photos on the site are no exaggeration, and reflect the luxury, fittings, and location of this absolutely exquisitely decorated gem. The beds were amazingly comfy, the linen lovely, and the design of the place meant that despite the heat, we could use the breeze coming through the open doors instead of relying on the multiple aircons available. For what you get, it's also well-worth the price and we had an amazing time relaxing on the balcony, enjoying the magnificent scenery and sounds of the ocean. Clifton Beach 3 is also relatively quiet compared to other beaches, so it feels almost like you're on your own private beach. The fact that the property is also so close to the city centre and to the hubbub of Camps Bay with all its restaurants means that it really is the perfect location to holiday. In terms of location, facilities, and luxury, I think it's hard to beat this place. We will be back!

Absolutely nothing. The place was incredible! I do have some practical advice to those considering this location though. As with all properties located on the side of a cliff, be aware that steps are a reality. You cannot drive your car into the actual property as it's not on a road, so you'll need to navigate around 70-odd steps to get to and from the house (and more to get to the beach). People with knee or other mobility issues may therefore struggle, or even find it impossible, to get around the property. Parking is also a potentially tricky element, since there are no private parking bays for the property. The host has an arrangement with the security guard on the street above to try keep a bay open, and we didn't have a problem finding parking at any time even though we had 3 cars with us (one per couple), but it wasn't busy while we were there, so just be aware that if the beaches are busy, you might struggle with parking. It also means you're going to end up tipping the car guard for parking and/or for keeping you a spot when you go out, since it's more like parking in a normal street than in a private property, so just factor that in too. If these things aren't a problem for parties in your group, I can't recommend this property enough. We had a phenomenal time!
