Hotel Maren Fort Lauderdale Beach, Curio Collection By Hilton

Sean is a great asset to the property. The text line is slow to respond. Parking at $60/day is disgraceful. No room service is a big deal.

The bed sheets and pillow cases did not look or smell laundered.

All staff was helpful, professional, attentive and just all around nice (Sean, Casandra, Chakira). Oceanfront with great views and in close proximity to restaurants and night life.

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view! The staff was very nice and kind to us. The hotel is located in front of the beach, which was wonderful. The swimming pool was very good, with a beautiful view of the beach! There are several places nearby to eat and drink without taking the car. The hotel offers towels for the beach and swimming pool.

The room was for 3 people but only 2 chairs were available at the beach (an extra chair and umbrella should be payed for, although we were charged the Resort Tax already). The restaurant at the pool level should stay open longer and offer the dishes listed on the menu. The parking was too expensive.

Great location, clean rooms and most of the staff were good. One grumpy lady at the desk.

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable that non of us slept much the whole trip. I asked if there was anything available with a softer bed/pillows but all room are the same. Even my kid said the bed made his body hurt. The first day we had booked lunch for a group of 6 of us. They had multiple items on the very small menu not available. I don’t drink but… they had only 2 kinds of beer including bud light and Modello. No vodka. Wine was cheaper. We ended up going elsewhere after drinks. Room service was near impossible to reach by phone. We had to cancel our breakfast in the day we left because we had ordered via voicemail and it never came. We left a 2nd voicemail to cancel it.
