Tired decor and facilities like a student house

The location of the house was very good. Near to all the shops and restaurants. Easy to get public transport to other places of interest eg Gloucester.
The property was advertised as two bathrooms which is the main reason we booked even though it was above our budget. The property had one old fashioned bathroom plus a tiny toilet with a wash basin. When I contacted the management company they immediately changed the description and said it was booking.com mistake. Curb Property Management gave us a bottle of wine as a goodwill gesture but then ignored all the emails I sent them. When I returned home I decided to contact booking.com. I am very upset to say that Curb Property Management told them I was very rude and unpleasant, this was not the case at all. The Citizen Advice Bureau said I had a case against them but I was so upset by their view of me I decided to not pursue this matter. Finally booking.com advice is to always read the reviews and not to book anything rated less than 8. It has taken me 3 months to write this review because I have been trying to forget about my experience with Curb Property Management. Maybe the owner should consider employing another agency to let their property.

Central location, good size, comfortable bedrooms, towels and bedding.
Downstairs toilet doesn’t flush waste and paper away. Storage heaters inadequate and not working at all in lounge. Additional movable heaters helped but unable to put these in bathroom for obvious safety reasons. Downstairs rear of house was cold. Kitchen and front upstairs bedroom smelled of drains. Electric shower was weak and lacked water pressure. Parking permit purchased in advance was a waste of money: we had to bring a different car to Cheltenham and agent told us the car registration could not be changed. Located on a main road road which was noisy for lounge and front bedroom.

The location which is walking distance to the town and shopping areas. The heater in the bathroom that warmed up the bathroom. The comfortable beds. The kind landlord who delivered 2 extra newly purchased heaters for us to use in the bedroom and living room. There is an open parking that you can pay for 24 days with maximum rate of GBP10.
The stairs to the bedrooms but I supposed that is normal for historical houses

Lots of room in a three bedroom house. The property was clean. We were able to purchase a parking permit which was really useful.
The location near the centre was ideal,
Minor issue but the lounge carpet has seen better days.

Location was good, about 17mins drive to Oxstalls. and just over an hour to most other places. we visited Bath, Gloucester, Malvern, Upton Upon Severn, Tewksbury, The Wye Valley & the Forest of Dean.
Property was clean and the facilities were good
The Kitchen is a little small, but manageable. No Line or airer to dry clothes in the small courtyard Tumble dryer not that great.
parking can be a bit hit and miss. Not easy to locate Zone 12 upon arrival.

Downstairs WC needs checking as after flush water takes 10/15 minutes to drain......it would be nice if there would have been Dish washer....and standing shower tray is bit small it would be nice little bit bigger.........

Liked the location
I am not sure there is enough comfortable furniture in the property. We were only 4 and we took a bean bag with us as it looked like there was just one sofa and there was. So someone always ended up in the floor. If there is anymore than 3 of you staying, think about additional comfy seating

Brilliant location
The house wasn’t clean enough, especially within the current climate. The oven was dirty as well as some plates and glasses. Not enough cutlery and towels offered dispite owner knowing how many guests were coming prior to arrival. The pressure in the shower was bad and would benefit from a replacement, furthermore, the downstairs sink leaked whenever water went down the drain, with the bin underneath careful placed to catch the water.

The location was good and the property was light and spacious and bigger than we were expecting. The property was nicely decorated.
It was on a main road which was noisy and there was no double glazing or black out blind. The blinds in the main bedroom was not hung well and let light it at the sides.
The bathroom and kitchen were dated with no dishwasher or coffee machine.
