We had a great time. The house was clean and quaint. We really enjoyed being close to downtown. A very good week overall. The best part? Dogs are allowed.

Kayla’s home was the perfect spot for our stay with four people for a week! She saved the day after a previous rental from another app we had booked canceled on us a month or two before we were supposed to check in. It was for the week of our wedding, so we really needed a home base in Mystic for the week. Kayla’s house has everything we needed for a great stay! Like most houses in Mystic, the house is on the older side, but it was very clean and thoughtfully decorated with all the amenities to make for a comfortable stay. Kayla was incredibly kind, flexible, and responsive throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

The location was lovely— the driveway was a little tricky (as stated in description) but wasn’t hard to get out of at all…. Everyone was very patient in the area! The house was a perfect location to get around town without having to drive everywhere— definitely has its old school charm (creaky floors and a few drafts here and there) but perfect for a small group and had plenty of space- we loved it! The side porch— PERFECT for morning coffee or a glass of your favorite libation, especially on those rainy days. You’re on a busy street, but it’s still quite private. Kayla was a lovely host and we can’t thank her enough for giving us so many ideas for things to do and where to eat— our weekend trip was all we could have asked for!

Stay was great. House was perfect size and patio/porch was amazing. Location was prime and walking distance to downtown. Only complaint would be there was no body wash except a used, almost finished bar of soap, and also there were only 4 dinner plates / bowls to be shared with everyone. Other than that it was great.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Mystic. The house was comfortable and well stocked. We absolutely loved the sitting porch. The house is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants.

This home was just perfect for us! It was super clean, and had a terrific location in the historic district. The porch and beautifully landscaped fenced yard was an added bonus. We were aware that the house was close to the road, and the street noise was not a real issue.The owner was very responsive and flexible. We hope to be back to Mystic again, and will definitely try to stay here!

Kayla's property is exactly as depicted and does an amazing job of combining the charm of the old houses of the area with just the right amount of modern updates. Everything was clean, comfortable and more than we could have asked for. Kayla was easy to reach and wonderful to work with.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was very clean and so charming! The location was awesome for walking to town to enjoy the shopping and the restaurants. The drive way is a little tricky as it is kind of on a slight bend in the road but not a big deal. Kayla was extremely responsive and very helpful!

Kayla was an excellent host and very communicative! She was flexible with check out times and we were able to check in an hour earlier which was great. The house was clean and well stocked for a small weekend stay. Beds were comfy but the couch was a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, great location and no complaints!

Historic home in beautiful Mystic was depicted and described perfectly. Owner made smart choices in kitchen and bath upgrades. Morning sun on spacious, comfortable porch was so enjoyable in February; must be idyllic during warmer months. The bedding and linens were heavenly. The reviews citing the road noise are accurate, so if that may bother you then buyer beware. We loved our time here and look forward to returning and maybe cooking in next time to luxuriate using the gorgeous Noritake china.

My friend and I loved staying at Kayla’s for the weekend. It was a quick walk to shops and restaurants, which made the stay very convenient. We enjoyed the porch (and 70 degree November weather!) and the place was clean and comfortable. The road noise is a little loud but neither of us were very bothered. Would stay again!

Everything as expected

We enjoyed our four night stay in this lovely, updated historic home just a short walk from all of the sites in downtown Mystic, Connecticut. The house had everything we needed. The only drawback was the street noise, but we knew that coming in. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone who wishes to stay in the area.

This historic home is well kept. Our family liked spending time on the porch. It's a short walk to downtown and drive to the RI beaches. It is in a busy section of Rte 1 and just room for two cars in driveway. The host had excellent communication to me and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Easy walk to historic downtown, nicely renovated kitchen and beautiful historic setting. The road is extremely busy with traffic which made sitting on the porch loud. Easy drive to the surrounding beaches!

The house is exactly as described, and was a great place for us and a few friends to spend a long weekend. The location is excellent, though the driveway is quite tricky to get in and out of - a mirror across the street would do wonders! The space was spotless and had everything we needed. The porch was lovely but it is on a main road (which is mentioned in the listing) so can be noisy when you’re outside but definitely not a big issue. Kayla was an excellent host and responded immediately when we needed her, and even gave us some extra time with checkout that was much appreciated. Great place to stay overall!

This circa 1816 property is updated and fully equipped for fun and relaxation. The fusion of modern kitchen with historic old beams floors and architecture is special and homey. Parking is a little challenging but far outweighed by the short walk to all the wonderful shops and restaurants near the drawbridge. We would definitely stay there again.
