Owner accomodated us at last min due to being let down which we were grateful for. However, not having basics such as cups/mugs is not satisfactory

Single bed broken, not fit for purpose. bunk beds felt unsturdy so put top mattress on floor. No curtains. One mug (no other cups to drink out of with 7 people in the chalet). Might have been due to site nearly being closed for season but should have relevant items if people are paying for it

Mattresses need changing. Blinds or curtains need to be put in place and we had no hot water.

First impressions were goon. Clean apartment. "Newly" refurbished perhaps a couple of years ago. Read on for why we've given a bad review. Good points: 2 fridge freezers, washer/dryer, microwave, oven with 4 hobs (we only used the hobs). Apartment cheap to run costing less than £1.50 a day with electricity cards from the local shop (shame we weren't advised of this on the listing). Good location, a 5 min drive from the beach, local amusements and places to eat. I recommend The Lagon Arms. Slightly further afield I'd really recommend hiring a boat for the day / half day at Martham and booking a meal at The Boathouse, Ormesby St. Michael.

Where do I start... - Swimming pool hasn't opened since Covid-19 and apparently won't be any time soon!! Jake would have known this but failed to mention it! - Lack of plug sockets throughout. - Lamp in living room broken and nowhere plug it in anyway. - Heaters luckily not needed as again, nowhere to plug in, unless sacrifice watching the TV. - Uncomfortable sofa & chair. - Most complimentary food / condiments in cupboards are out of date. - Be aware there is a broken pen jar in the left cupboard! - Pots & pans are old, scratched, all require replacing. Only 2 pint glasses, 1 half pint, 1 small wine glass (and 1 large one I left there). Only 1 mug. Enough plates but no breakfast bowls, no cutlery or utensils. Do ensure you wash everything first before you use it though but note there is no washing up bowl so we used the plastic mixing bowl to wash up in. - Kitchen table broken and uneven. - Fire alarm in a box on top of the kitchen cupboard. - Shower door needs a little attention and an extractor fan would be beneficial. - Bathroom paint bubbling - this isn't major but clearly not been painted with bathroom paint. Bathroom could do with a bath mat for inside the bath and for the tiled floor to avoid slips. - There are no blinds in the living room, seriously lacking privacy and has no filter to morning sunlight. - Blinds in bedrooms are damaged. Main concern is with master bedroom where privacy in a huge concern! - No dressing room as mentioned. - Beds are shocking!! All bedding old, lumpy and stained. All mattresses are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Beds in twin room have two old, uncomfortable mattresses each. One bed is literally two cheap old mattresses inside a bed frame, the other is a broken bed, which I fell through! It has been mentioned many times within the last couple of years, shame this is still an issue and I'm grateful it was me who this happened to and not my 3 year old!

had to take the bin out, had to clean the loo, had to make all of the beds as it look like someone slept in it, there was slugs in the fridge, there was only 1 mug and there was 4 adults, the was red sauce in the sink so had to clean it, the wasn’t no clean double bedsheets, no loo roll. really wouldn’t stay there ever again

i walked into the house and it was so dirty i called the owner and he said give the cleaner 45mins and he will be there,after 45 mins i called and he blocked my number.most the beds were broken i was pregnat and i struggled.

the chalet is amazing and in a great location , easy check in and out and good communication

there are no blinds in the living room apart from a net curtain , the sun comes in first thing . also the master bedroom the blinds are all hanging down and broken . the chalet was pretty dirty too which was a shame , this includes the bedding .

The property was absolutely filthy. The bedding hadn’t been changed after the previous guests, the floors were covered in dirt, there were no towels except for one wet one left in the bathroom from previous guests. We did not stay and had to pay for alternative accommodation elsewhere. Owner was unresponsive to repeated attempts to contact him.

Nothing! The chalet was so dirty. Dust everywhere, no hot water. The bed sheets were dirty and had very obviously already been slept in. I have a list as long as my arm of all the dirty things we saw. Very upsetting experience- please don’t book!

The house was not cleaned at all after the last people that stayed there, the same day we had to come back home as everything was fully booked. Owner said that he would refund us my money and never did and doesnt answer my messages. I do not recomend

it stunk, it was so dirty it was ridiculous.. I’ve photographic proof.. the bedding had stains that showed it had not been washed which is not acceptable in any way. toilet seat was broken.. no privacy in main bedroom due to the blinds being broken.. the sofa is so worn & tired it needs burning.. it was without doubt the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in..

Apartment was filthy dirty wasnt cleaned have millions of photos. Owner refused to believe us and kept saying his cleaner had been in and he hasn't filthy dirty sheets, poo on towels, cerial and food all over the floors, bin wasnt emptied. Horrified to say the least had two young babies and a toddler. DO NOT STAY HERE, THE OWNER DID NOT WANT TO KNOW OR CARE.

Very nice, clean, spacious and modern. The beach is close and sandy too.

Bathroom & shower facilities were nice, chalet was spacious. Cooker, 2 fridge freezers, microwave very good. Nice balcony & patio doors useful as it was hot when we stayed. Plenty of parking & peaceful area

Could:have been cleaner. Some Mattresses & pillows were old & need replacing, quite uncomfortable to be honest. Description said beach front but beach wasn't nearby. Everytime someone used the hot water the tank which was upstairs kept making a loud noise. No remote control for TV & xbox batteries were dead.Also had to purchase cards to top up the electric meter

The place was filthy, we had to fetch cleaning products, antibac wipes and bleach to clean the toilet and bathroom before we could use it, there was left over food in the oven, microwave unusable, no hot water, the carpets weren't hoovered, tiled floor sticky, insects and cobwebs in every room. We sprayed the beds with dettol spray before use as the bedding didnt seem fresh. It's not a "beach front property" as stated, the beach is a good 10/15minute walk away and, although it has possibly been painted white throughout in recent months it has certainly not been "fully renovated" the sofa is very tatty, the mattresses are uncomfortable and the blinds in the bedrooms are broken and don't block out any light.
