well appointed, good location, compfy beds

no screens on the windows, kitchen faucet and shower on left both drip unless the handles are positioned just right

A short walk to front street. Mostly updated home. Lots of towels. Random beach things for you to use. Sleeps 6 in beds. You could put a couple kids on the cushions upstairs if you’re not afraid of them on the spiral stairs at night

It’s a busy street. The house was very dirty. The bench in the kitchen was so wobbly we were afraid it would break so we couldn’t sit at the table to eat. The shower head upstairs was broken. The upstairs toilet was clogged. The spiral stairs getting upstairs are so tight and small. It is hard for adults to get up the stairs at all. It’s extra difficult trying to carry your luggage up there. I was terrified that my kids would fall down the stairs too. There were no screens on any windows so all the bugs could come inside. We tried to keep lights off so more bugs didn’t come in at night. It was so hot with no air so all the windows had to be open all the time. Not only could the bugs come in, so could people if they tried. We saw someone crawl in the window of a house across the street. Needless to say , that made us feel unsafe to leave windows open at night or when we would leave our belongings in a wide open house. Also the front porch light didn’t work and we tripped hard on the front steps a few times. The contact was notified. She simply said that the owners knew these things.

The property was clean and quiet, conveniently located to downtown and beach, cheerfully decorated with a beach theme, and well appointed with every convenience, including beach toys. The three bedroom, three bathroom arrangement was spacious with plenty of privacy for our party of five.

There is no yard but that is common in Catalina. Access to the second floor is through a narrow spiral staircase in the kitchen or an external staircase accessed through the rear bedroom.
