Wonderful stay at Moose Landing for 9 adults and 1 infant! (Thanks for having a pack n play available for use.) Comfortable surroundings in living spaces and bedrooms. Family took advantage of both the sauna and the hot tub. Kitchen and pantry were amazing, stocked with pretty much anything one might need! Enjoyed our walks to the scenic river and across the street to Cafe 191! (Check out Cabin Consignments while over there.) Use of the heated garages to store our ski gear was an added bonus. Perfect location as it was a short drive up the mountain to the slopes!

What an amazing property and home for a week long fly fishing trip. We had a couple of minor issues and Amy the property manager had them resolved super fast. The location was perfect for us to be able to fish the Madison and Yellowstone rivers, hike and fish Yellowstone National Park, and of course, the Gallatin right out back which provided us plenty of quality trout fishing. In addition to a few deer on the property we got to see a black bear that was interested in the garbage cans out front and peacefully wandered off as we pulled into the driveway one night. The house is also in a great location close to Big Sky and had cell coverage and good Wi-Fi to stay connected to work and home while still feeling like you were enjoying nature at its finest out back and in the river. Can’t wait to come back in the future.

Our yearly BS family summer trip was at Moose Landing this year. Out of all the places we have rented in the BS area, ML was our favourite. While the house is nice, having the space to move around, plenty of parking, 2 car garage and access to the Gallatin are what put it over the top for me. Great spot!

Moose Landing was everything we hoped it would be. A lovely, large house with plenty of room for the 9 adults in our party, as well as another group of 5 friends who joined us for a big dinner. We loved the large and comfortable living and dining rooms, the well-appointed kitchen, the game room and the fantastic views of the cliffs overhanging the Gallatin River. As promised, we saw wildlife (elks, muskrat) every day. The location was perfect, close to the services in Big Sky, and an easy drive to/from the Bozeman airport.

Amazing experience. The house was aboslutley beautiful. WE did not want for anything as the house had every ammenity you could think of....even more than I have at home. Property was beautiful and we even saw a moose in the backyard the second morning. You can imagine my delight. It was conveniently located to the ski slopes and great dining options within a couple of miles. Nearby shopping and grocery were an added convenience. It was one of my favorite vacations ever.

We had a magnificent stay over the week of New Years. While we didn't get to experience the elusive moose in the back yard we did see plenty of wildlife on a short jaunt to Yellowstone. Took advantage of skiing and plenty of downtime in the hot tub. The house is so well stocked with all the kitchen stuff you could need as well and plenty of towels and paper products. The beds are very comfy too. Would highly recommended this place!!

The house is very well stocked and clean. Hot tub also was clean and functional. The house is very private, and we saw many elk hanging out in the back of the property!

This is a very nice place with lots of room to spread out. We would do it again and recommend it to others. We thought the road noise might be an issue but it wasn’t. There were some relatively minor maintenance issues that I pointed out to the manager in a separate email after our stay. Not complaining but if the manager doesn’t know, they can’t address it.

It was a great place for our family to stay. We had two toddlers, a preschooler and adults for a total of 10 people. My only suggestion would be some more (and better) outdoor furniture - what is there is not in great shape and pretty uncomfortable.

Although we expected better fishing at the house, we loved the location, the amenities, and the responsiveness of the property manager and the owner. Great location in relation to Big Sky, Bozeman, Yellowstone, fishing, … Great memories for the family and our friends!!

The house is beautiful and the outside scenery is spectacular. It was very accommodating to have 5 bedrooms/ 2 1/2 bathrooms; including the pool table, sauna, jacuzzi, grill, etc. The walk from the back of the house to the Gallatin River was breathtaking. The house has every appliance, accessories (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.) you could think of and/or need. Both Amy and Jonell were very accessible when I had a question.
The only negative thing is that it does not have a/c and we had one day that the temperature was in the 80's and it was hot, otherwise the house was very comfortable and spacious for my entire family.

Home with breathtaking view
The house is beautiful and the outside scenery is spectacular. It was very accommodating to have 5 bedrooms/ 2 1/2 bathrooms; including the pool table, sauna, jacuzzi, grill, etc. The walk from the back of the house to the Gallatin River was breathtaking. The house has every appliance, accessories (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.) you could think of and/or need. Both Amy and Jonell were very accessible when I had a question.

Love The River
The front of the property is close to 191 but the yard facing the river is huge and the wildlife viewing is fantastic. Elk in the morning, deer all day and night long and some coyotes. We thought being so close to the road would be noisy but the house is laid out well such that the road noise is mitigated. Great place!

Awesome Home for Group
We loved our stay at this home! The beds, linens and pillows were all super comfortable - great after a day at the slopes. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table/game room as well. The kitchen was large and fully stocked (don't need to buy spices, zip locks, foil, detergent etc.). The home also now has an Air Fryer (thanks!!) after we inquired if we had one and they sent us one!!! My kids enjoyed exploring the property and we saw several cow elk and loads of whitetails. Thanks!

We just returned from a great ski vacation! We had 11 people ranging from grandmother, to teenagers, down to a five-year-old. The house is extremely well equipped and a great layout for multiple families. The kids enjoyed the pool table in the family room downstairs, while the adults were able to enjoy the living room upstairs. Both have gas fireplaces that were enjoyed! The location is extremely convenient only about 6 miles from big sky resort. It’s a quick 10 to 15 minutes to the mountain and some great skiing! The boot warmers were a great touch along with all the additional necessities are available in the home(I.e.shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, spices, all the cooking utensils one could need). We saw great wildlife and the property is amazing! If you’re looking for a great location for a ski trip with a large group or multiple families, this is a great house!

We just returned from a great ski vacation! We had 11 people ranging from grandmother, to teenagers, down to a five-year-old. The house is extremely well equipped and a great layout for multiple families. The kids enjoyed the pool table in the family room downstairs, while the adults were able to enjoy the living room upstairs. Both have gas fireplaces that were enjoyed! The location is extremely convenient only about 6 miles from big sky resort. It’s a quick 10 to 15 minutes to the mountain and some great skiing! The boot warmers were a great touch along with all the additional necessities are available in the home(I.e.shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, spices, all the cooking utensils one could need). We saw great wildlife and the property is amazing! If you’re looking for a great location for a ski trip with a large group or multiple families, this is a great house!

I was so excited to stay at this location. However, shortly after we arrived we noticed many issues with the home; two bathroom faucets were broken, and there were game pieces and food wrappers on the floor in the downstairs game room. None of the decks were shoveled, and when we shoveled the area by the grill there were many cigarette butts and ash. I immediately contacted the property manager who responded quickly apologizing and offering to send a handyman in the morning. The next morning I texted her to say that we had repaired one of the bathroom sinks. The handyman never showed. The property manager said she cancelled the handyman because we told her that we repaired the sink. I would have really liked to show the handyman the multiple other issues with the home.
After our stay we were charged for a broken blind. We never used the blinds. Unfortunately we have pictures of many other broken and dirty parts of the home (dusty, found food under the sofa, found food outside and in the hotub, windows were very dirty) but do not have a picture of the blinds. I have rented from VRBO dozens of times and have never had any damage charges, and have always had my full deposits returned.
It is a lovely property. I hope they get the cleaning and repair services figured out. I would recommend taking pictures of the home upon arrival.

I love this place
We had our daughter, son-in-law, a 5 year old and a 7 year old. We did everything recommended and more. It’s a great property and Amy was the best! We’re looking forward to coming again soon!

Ski Vacation in Montana
This property is amazing! Was perfect for our family with enough space and bedrooms to allow for everyone -- young & old! Kitchen was well stocked with everything to make cooking for the family a breeze. We enjoyed watching the wildlife come right up to the cabin! Our family enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna! We definitely plan to vist this property again! We have stayed at numerous VRBO's over the years-- this was the best by far!
