Such a beautiful place to stay and perfectly located about 1 block from the old downtown area with many places to eat drink and shop. The home it self is perfect! Decorated to time period with many nice up grades. Plenty of room inside and a lovely porch to have an evening drink and morning coffee on. Comfy beds, nice kitchen nook with fridge sink and small area to prepare food/snacks.

It was a great adventure in the snow, and a wonderful massage.

Darby is a great hostess, we liked her studio very much. It is not large, but good enough for the family of 3-4 members. The studio is so sweet, very clean, it has everything we needed, electric kettle (our family loves tea), great shower (after a day of skiing) and etc. Darby really thought about all small things for the nice and comfortable stay. The place right in the downtown of Nevada City, beautiful forest surrounds the town (we saw many people with the bikes), ski resorts 45-50 min of driving (Sugar Bowl, Boreal), lots of scenic spots (great pictures guarantee), Yuba River in summer (planning to come), we loved Grass Valley town nearby.Darby, thank you for your hospitality! Maria
