Felt like I was staying in my own house. Staff was incredible and made us feel like family.

The road - out of the properties control. Heavy rain caused rockslides that took out the road.

The first thing my girlfriend said was 'I feel like a princess here' and that pretty much sums up the experience. Food was much better than we expected. Hikes around the hotel were some of my favorite hikes ever. Lots of birds on the property such as motmot, a variety of tanagers, warblers including some endemics. Very full service but tell them what you need ahead of time (you are in a cloud forest not the middle of a metropolitan city!). Staff are amazingly helpful. It is close to some dedicated birding areas but with nicer accommodations so highly recommend if birding is your thing.

Note that wifi is better in the main building (quite fast) than in the side building so if that is important, stay in the main building.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful. The setting, its gardens, the music of the birds and the clouds touching the trees makes it magical. It feels like another world. The bed is the most perfect bed, wonderful sheets and pillows. The food is very good, a definite highlight.

The Internet is extremely unreliable in the room, it fails roughly every 5 minutes during the day. The garden room we were in is lovely but there are two other bedrooms in that building and one is above this room and it has a wooden floor, so every step, every word spoken and moved chair will wake you. We slept with earplugs. Even with ear plugs our other neighbours conversation at 0720 woke us. We booked the hotel because we had driven from Bogotá, we wanted a spa hotel and after booking tried to book a massage. It is advertised on Booking.com and their own website. However, there has been no massage service since the pandemic. We would have cancelled but the booking was non refundable. The hotel is nearly perfect, it is unfortunate that such small issues made it less enjoyable. It is a very expensive hotel compared to other places to stay in Colombia and therefore poor value for money.

Fantastic location! Perfect getaway outside of Cali to relax in nature. The property is beautiful anf very comfortable, staff is very attentive and kind.

Diego and the entire staff are absolutely fantastic. I felt as if we were staying with family. The service is 5 stars. The execution of the dishes at the restaurant are on par with any award winning restaurant. The location cannot be beat. If you are seeking relaxation and pampering..... this is the place.

Breakfast and food in general was exceptionally fresh and delicious. The property as a whole is exceptionally well maintained. The climate is ideal for getting away from the heat and the location is ideal for peace and quiet. The surroundings are beautiful and we truly enjoyed walking around the Lodge and all other nearby areas. I stopped for lunch at Las Cabanas (2 mnts. away) and it was outstanding. I visited nearby small towns with great views and fresh food.

I have nothing to complaint about. The staff was outstanding and the Lodge was absolutely beautiful. The small towns and country side restaurants are beautiful with great views and great food.
