Das Heiligtum im TPH - Boston

Another great stay at the Perthshire house .

This was the second time stay at The Sanctuary for a visit to Boston. The host is responsive and welcoming and I enjoyed the stay very much!

This is a great place to stay when in boston. Quite a bit cheaper than staying closer to downtown and alot nicer than staying in a hotel for 2x the price. Uber rides to downtown, Fenway and TD Gardens were about $30 and took about 20 min to get there. We were in room 6 and it was really big. Queen size bed but also room to walk around and lay out our stuff for the week. There is a shared bathroom but no problems there. They even provided slippers for the shower. Bathroom was right next to our room so made it super easy. The living room has couches and a tv and kitchen has everything you need. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a 3 level building so a total of 40 steps from the main street up to the top level. If you have mobility issues or are travelling with older adults with hip or knee issues it would be difficult. Owner was super easy to work with. We had a question when we arrived and he answered almost immediately. If we return to Boston as planned next year we would definitely stay here again.

I appreciated the stay as it was clean and the instructions were clear upon entry, however I would not recommend this VRBO to those lugging heavy bags! There are many tight staircases you will have trouble hauling up heavy bags on. If you are carrying lightweight backpacks or handbags and don’t mind the climb, it is a nice and quiet stay. I stayed for one night and I had lots of trouble entering and exiting with my luggage, but I appreciated how direct the instructions were and how neat everything was.
