We really enjoyed our stay. As advertised! Great location on the main strip in Balboa. Very clean and new1 25 minutes to Disneyland. We highly recommend.

We explored all the towns up and down coastal highway which were very accessible. Great hiking and great restaurants. The hosts were incredibly responsive with small questions. Property was perfectly maintained. no complaints. Recommend highly and without reservation.

This condo made for a truly excellent family vacation. Plenty of space ans conveniently located to walk Balboa.

We were four adults and the apartment could easily accommodate six. We enjoyed hanging out in the living room/kitchen area and, in the mornings, on the front porch. The location cannot be beat--you are steps from the center of the commercial hub; though the street was never too busy or loud. Parking was easy and the management company that oversees the unit was very responsive when we posed a query or two. I will say that this might not be the best spot during a heat wave as there is no air-conditioning; but we had cool evenings so never an issue. A completely worry-free stay.

Newly updated and plenty of room but very noisy…not from the fire station next door, but trash and delivery trucks in the morning, street repair with jackhammer noise…definitely a convenient location though…

This upstairs unit was comfortable for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. The location is good, close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. It appears to have been newly remodeled, is comfortable and beautiful. The bed was great! Negatives: stairs to the second floor are steep and the balcony is small, not large enough to sit around a table for a meal outside.

This property was wonderful and beautiful inside. It had everything we needed for our stay. All the great little shops were literally to the right when you walked out of the door. We were also just a couple of blocks away from the walkway by the bay. I highly recommend this property. But, here is the one thing I found very interesting. All the rules are to be quiet between 10pm-8am. We are not loud people so not a problem, but the garbage trucks, delivery trucks, street cleaners, fire station personnel (right next door) remodeling noises started VERY early in the morning. Since there isn't air conditioning (which you do not need) you have to have the windows open all the time. I highly recommend this place

We enjoyed staying at this condo. Location was perfect and the set up and decor was great. The fire house next door it was noisy one night but otherwise we barely knows that. We did purchase a fire stick to light the fireplace and left for you. Thanks for sharing your beautiful condo with us.

The lease agreement and the rules reminders posted around the property are intimidating, but law-abiding renters will be happy they stayed here. The location in downtown Balboa Island is within easy walking distance of everything, the renovated decor is superb (and good quality in most places) and the unit is fully stocked with kitchenware, linens, etc.; having a Keurig machine handy with some pods on-the-house was another nicety. Highly recommend the place if you're a respectful, quiet renter.

Only a few complaints. One being that the freezer was out. I know things happen, but it made life a little harder finding ice at local stores daily to make drinks. There is also just not enough towels for a full week with a house full, unless you like using the same towel every day for 7 days. We also had to purchase addition paper towels. There was one roll and no extra trash bags. We also don't mind having the owner beneath us, but not using our own balcony until 10am because of rules, stinks. Lastly we noticed he was moving our trash around in the bins outside. Little strange that he'd go through the trash.

Past that, I'd say it was a great stay, beautiful home and would suggest it to others for the location.

Notes: we thought we had the whole unit but someone lives downstairs. There’s no AC. Be very careful backing into the parking garage, we shattered the back window of our rental van because the upper cabinet in the garage didn’t show in the reverse camera. Super bummer because we only got the rental car to store our items until the house was ready for us at 3pm. (They won’t let you store your luggage if your flight gets in early).
