Hôtel Casa Marina

Eine tolle Lage. Ein kleines Hotel mit sehr viel Charme und Charakter. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Kein cooler urbaner Luxus. Wir vermissen diese wunderschöne Casa schon jetzt und würden jederzeit wieder dort wohnen.

Alles war wunderbar

Extrem freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Bad mit der vermutlich besten Dusche in Frankreich. Kühlschrank zur Selbstbedienung in der Lobby.

The manager was so helpful and friendly, he gave us lots of information and suggestions, explained how the hotel provided food and drinks and told us what we could see and places we could walk. The bad was comfy and we had a patio to relax on. The town was really easy to walk into and explore and there were walks around the lakes and straight onto the beaches. Restaurants were plentiful and nearby, including the fabulous Le Fournelet across the street. A short walk to the bus stops to take you out into the Camargue or Arles and they only cost just over 1 euro, max! If you only do one thing in Saintes Marie then pay to walk up the tower onto the church roof, it’s an amazing experience, you can climb the tiles to sit right up on the ridge! The skies were amazing, Van Gogh prints are scattered about the beaches and town so you can see the painting and the actual viewpoint he painted it from, that was pretty special.

We were out all the time so there was nothing we didn’t like. Everything worked for us.

Interior was clean and the hotel felt airy, the Italian man working in the restaurant was utterly charming and very helpful.

Manager was sadly absent so we had to endure his terrible receptionist Dominique who frankly ruined our holiday through her attitude and lack of positive solutions. Also the ants in rooms 10 and 11 need fixed once and for all, as this has clearly been an on going problem for many years.
