The property was wonderful. The whole family enjoyed the home. Plenty of room & the amenities were spot on!! Would recommend this property highly & would rent without hesitation again!! Thank you!!!

To describe my time here would be as generally relaxing with tons of entertainment. The kitchen was gorgeous and had ALL the features.
- High Top Island
- 2 Dishwashers
- Grandiose Appliances
- Pot Filler at Stove
It was magical to say the least when we made sushi, steaks, bacon, eggs...you get the picture. Beautiful view of the river behind the cabin when you are cleaning up at the sink.
Living Room area. As a person that likes windows, the cabin was great. Big open area with lots of seating. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the wood & features of this cabin.
The main bedroom/bathroom was warm and cozy. The only thing that I may recommend would be to work on the ductwork because the register in the bedroom was LOUD. The water heater also needs to be upsized or turned into an instantaneous water heater because you cannot draw a bath and take a shower at the same time.
Buck hunter was a huge hit and utilized a ton. The theater room w/ popcorn machine was a nice amenity, although the popcorn machine was not used.
The only issue that I had was the backroom had an access point in the basement where they throw firewood that seemed pretty easy to get into with a drill (not positive on that). Also, the fire/smoke/emergency alarm system had a camera, not sure why and was easily fixed with a band-aid over it. Footprints and a forehead/nose print was left on the main dining room window (not sure on timeline), which was kind of creepy, but chalked it up to a nosy neighbor/loft tenant.
Overall, a great place to spend some much-needed vacation time and I would go again. A for quality.

We celebrated my mom’s birthday as well as Christmas. We were there less than 48 hours but greatly enjoyed the house- it feels like a resort it’s so gorgeous! We had two babies under a year and an almost four year old plus eight adults. We were excited to find a high chair and we had lots of room to spread out. We didn’t get to enjoy the theatre but enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and heated concrete floors that made a very cold weekend much warmer.

Beautiful House on waterfront
This huge house was perfect for our family’s recent vacation. High ceilings, lots of wood, home theater and dock on the water. We rented a pontoon and had a great day on the nearby lake. Would recommend. Just know that the loft and garage are rented separately so you may have neighbors. We didn’t have any issues at all though.

Wonderful stay!
The home was simply beautiful. The location is wonderful!
It is close to town, a bike trail, and a wonderful park with a great swimming area. Park Rapids is a fun town with great places to eat and shop. My grandchildren especially loved the movie theater. My only suggestion is that with the above garage portion being a separate rental that some curtains on the windows for privacy may be nice.
Communication was excellent and I would not hesitate to rent this home again. The house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation!!

Place was nice! Beds could be softer and water access isn't swimable but kayaks were a hit with us. We had a nice stay with plenty of room for 7 adults.

We had about a dozen men stay here for a bachelor party and had a great time. The amenities were perfect for our needs and the fact it could sleep so many was a big plus. Also, the arcade games and the theater room were a hit. We called to see if any of the wood on the property was available for burning and never did hear back. Aside from that minor detail, it was a great place to hang out!

We booked this property with friends to attend a wedding. We made the reservation 7 months prior to our stay. Communication with the property manager was frustrating leading up to our stay. The house was impressive and clean. It had everything our group of 8 adults required except it only had 2 showers, not the 4 that was listed in the add. This was a problem! The outdoor patio needs to be repaired.

We booked this property with friends to attend a wedding. We made the reservation 7 months prior to our stay. Communication with the property manager was frustrating leading up to our stay. The house was impressive and clean. It had everything our group of 8 adults required except it only had 2 showers, not the 4 that was listed in the add. This was a problem! The outdoor patio needs to be repaired.

Beautiful Place!
This is a beautiful property! And our family had a wonderful time! Property was clean and well maintained. My only suggestion would be to upgrade linens/bedding to a more luxurious standard. Definitely recommend this property.

Let’s start with the positive because overall our family had a wonderful time staying together at the property.
Pros: large kitchen, convenient bathrooms, plenty of area for people to spread out - kids loved the movie room.
Cons: space is not as large as you’d expect due to choppy layout, not ideal for older adults or those with mobility issues due to numerous stairs, extremely uncomfortable beds.
Disappointments:
- We reserved a pontoon for our stay which was delivered at the end of the first full day we rented it for, we were able to take it out finally the next day and it died and was inoperable, then when it was removed the next day we were told we would get a refund and instead of working with us like a reasonable host they blocked our emails leaving us to find third party assistance to resolve the issue. a level of unprofessionalism that is extremely disappointing. Buyer beware.
- the grounds are so unkept that they are unsafe. My toddler was simply walking on the patio continually fell and eventually scraped his whole face from a fall. For a luxury rental it’s disappointing to see that they have been so neglected that they are uneven and cause safety hazards. Weeds are also overgrown everywhere.
- Thankfully nobody had rented the other portion of the rental for the week otherwise this mansion turned duplex would have been uncomfortably close.
Maybe our expectations were too high for something that claimed to be luxury and had a matching luxury price tag. But a well kept property and grounds as well as professional communication should not be expecting too much.

We rented both homes for our stay and it was awesome. It has plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable. The property was gorgeous and checkin was very easy.
My only thing I would note is that I wish the master bath had some sort of curtain on the window on the side of the lake (it looked directly into the shower. And the outside back patio was a bit uneven, so our older family really had to be careful walking.
Other than that it was a great experience and we will definitely be back in the future’

Our group of two families with five young children between us, had an incredible time escaping from the city at this beautifully appointed home. The only feedback to note when booking is that there is no beach front or real lake activity access on the property. While kayaks are provided, if you're looking for lake activities with kids, you really need to have a boat rented for the duration of your stay.

Our group of two families with five young children between us, had an incredible time escaping from the city at this beautifully appointed home. The only feedback to note when booking is that there is no beach front or real lake activity access on the property. While kayaks are provided, if you're looking for lake activities with kids, you really need to have a boat rented for the duration of your stay.

Beautiful place but deceitful
The cabin was Beautiful for sure , clean, it does NOT sleep 16 people !!!! That was extremely frustrating, it sleeps 11 ...which left us a huge problem, for the price we paid there is no reason anyone should have to make a bed on the floor or sleep on the couch . We also did not realize that the part over the garage is rented separately? So , I guess we were lucky as no one rented it the same day we were there ... but what if they did? No where on the listing does it say that you could be sharing a dock, yard , driveway and part of a house with another family ... this was not even known until we got there.
The absolute worst part of the house is the beds in the two smaller bedrooms were from 1980! Absolutely horrible , would have been more comfortable sleeping on the driveway , After the first night my back was so horrible it ruined the rest of the weekend , again, for the price of the cabin this is unacceptable!! I will not rent this cabin again, or suggest anyone else does , until they get two new beds , and the space above the garage was included with the price , there is no reason to share a cabin like this for the price . The landscaping looked terrible , not a big deal , but it’s almost June, maybe tidy up a bit so the outside looked more presentable ....all of these things would not have been a big deal if i rented a cabin for $100 for the weekend , but for a house that was advertised on the discovery channel per their Vrbo description this is not acceptable . I hope whom ever reads this fixes those things , bc we won’t be back until they are .
