Wonderful time, beds were comfy and loved the pool. And right on the canal was nice. But could be cleaner, spray for bugs, it advertised paddle board and there wasn’t one and it desperately needs new couches.

Yearly we vacation in the Keys. After reading the reviews for the property we figured it was a winner. Upon arrival the house is very clean and organized. The down side is that not one piece of furniture is comfortable except the Master King bed and the Full/Twin in the 1st guest room. The other Queen size in the 2nd guest room is terribly sloped and a mattress topper was added I guess in hopes of making it better, not. The cushions on the sofabed fall in, because they are so old and you wind up sitting on the frame of the sofabed, it is dirty and the back is so upright you cannot get comfortable, same with the loveseat. The family room rug hasn't been cleaned for a while. The bar stools have cushions that look like they have good foam but then flatten to nothing. The dining room is fine. The sheets are not cotton so they are hot, the quilt covers were dirty. The master bathroom shower leaks, therefore there is mold/mildew at the bottom tiles. Both bathrooms have the small round toilet seats and the one in the Master rocks when you sit on it. There aren't any grab bars for someone who has had a hip replacement to feel secure. The curtain rods are falling out of the walls in the dining area, the paint has not even been touched up in years and wasn't even finished in a corner where they must have had a repair, there is a bulb missing in the kitchen and holes in the tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen probably for a repair, but have some love for a house and repair it so guests don't feel like they are living a in FIXER UPPER, which is exactly how we all felt. . At first glance you are like ok not so bad but after really living in it, we felt like we were ripped off. IN ADDITION THE POOL HAD FLOATING MOLD, which my 18yr and 16 yr old sons looked up because they were concerned about the floating "white stuff" while they were in it. They did respond quickly and send a pool person out to clean it, but the grossness of it all didn't make it inviting any longer. These are just a few issues and to some it might not seem like much but when you are spending money for something you think looks perfect from previous reviews you at least expect some comfort in the house. I have pictures of it all.

The house was perfect for all of us! Beth was an amazing hostess! The house had everything we needed and more!

Overall, we had a great time at the property. The outdoor space and screened in area were our favorites. The kids loved the TV and lounging area area(screened in), while the adults liked the outdoor space. There was plenty of room for 8 people. In addition, the variety of outdoor equipment to use was fun-hammocks, loungers, chairs, pool, kayaks, fish cleaning station, and opportunity to be shaded or in the sun. We rented a boat- the canal and dock space were easily accessible.

The stay was fantastic so comfortable, and clean so much out door space, had everything we needed, i will stay again i loved the house, i was so surprised of the awesome gift Beth had waiting for us when we got there, the location was perfect to all the restaurants, beaches, we walked to the IHop a few times, very convenient to everything. I can't say enough good things.❤️

The property was as listed. Wonderful patio ( my husband thought the best for shaded area, sun areas, trees, furniture variety we have ever had), canal front, tiki bar, pool - Check in was easy, we had a couple of minor issues at first AND the property manager was Very quick to go above and beyond to fix. The tv in the screened in room was not working and she ordered a new one and had installed asap! Really could not have asked for any better service and attention to needs. Saw a lot of manatee in the canal, kayaks were a plus! Quiet street with friendly neighborhood!! Thank you Beth for a great start to my retirement. Looking forward to spending some time in March to another of your homes!

Absolutely awesome back yard, warm pool (we were there during a very cold spell, and it was still warm enough for us to enjoy). Only down side was the neighbors were very close, and somewhat loud (normal family having fun, but still distracting while trying to relax outside. Could not hear them inside). I don’t take off for that, since it’s not at all the owners fault. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall beds were comfortable, although the queen bed seemed to have a dip in it on one side. Fine for one person, but might be uncomfortable for two. My son slept on the foldout couch, and it had the usual problem that such beds have (bar across the middle that you could feel). That’s just the way these things are, though, and he was able to find a comfortable position.

The ocean was right at the end of the street. Loved it and had a great week. Would book again. Great spot if you have a boat. 5 stars.

I will mention the canal/channel is great until you hit the poles; stay close to the poles and go down on plane. Lot of trees and sand moved around and thats basically the only way to avoid it. Snorkeling, fishing, and plenty of great food all around. Even without a boat, there were plenty of shops and places to go to. Using the pool at the end of the day was a plus and it was nice to watch football from either pool or bar area. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely rebook this place again!

Spent a week with family. Great time in a nice spot

The house is far enough off the main road that it is pretty quiet. Plenty of room for a large family. It would be nice if the deck overlooking the canal was large enough to sit at, but there is deck facing the street. The tiki hut and pool are located downstairs so that requires you to exit the automatically locking door and down a flight of stairs. The outdoor living room we did not find comfortable. There is an a/c unit for the first floor hanging out into the space, which runs constantly, and the pool filter is directly behind the couch so trying to watch some evening TV is impossible. Although the pool was not heated, it was still warm enough to enjoy. We have rented many homes and some have a stockpile of supplies and some don't - this one does not. Aside from a starter pack of TP and paper towels, you will need to buy everything right down to the salt and pepper. We were surprised that there were no beach accessories for use. We purchased two beach chairs, an umbrella and umbrella anchor and left them there - hopefully they get replaced if damaged. This may seem like a slightly negative review, but that is not the intention - just trying to point out some shortcomings. Overall, this is a very nice house to vacation in and explore the Keys.

We had an incredible time at Keyz Living! From the communications with everyone involved to the accommodations provided, it was all great and we will return very soon. Boat dockage was amazing and nice wide canal for boating. I would highly recommend this spot!

This was our best rental so far in the Keys. Very well maintained and stocked place. Having a pool was wonderful. Any issues we had were taken care of very quickly as well as any inquiries with management. The only negative I could have and that is not fault of the property is, due to a past hurricane the channel leading out to the open water can be very shallow during low tide. Most boats should be on a full plane when exiting the canal. Hopefully someday this area will be dredged. I have to say again this is a great place and I will hopefully be returning next year.

Overall the house was decently equipped with a nice location on a canal and the pool was enjoyable. Nice layout with upstairs and outside downstairs patios/seating. My family caught Covid a few days prior to starting our vacation and we asked for alternative date options for our trip and the owner offered a few make-up dates in the future for more money but none of the dates would work out and we figured we could quarantine and relax during our recovery in the house on the water. When we got there the house was 77 degrees and steadily rose throughout the day to 83. Typically we are outside people, but again wanted to relax inside in the a/c but it was not comfortable. Contacted management and they arranged for an A/C person to come out the next day, Monday. Monday morning we received a text at 8am that the city was doing an inspection on the house that day from 11-12 and we couldn't be onsite... typically we would be boating but again my wife was trying to rest a bit but had to leave the house for that hour. A/C repairman finally showed up around 3pm and added more freon, stated there must be a leak. House again was in the low 80's and not comfortable to be in. Tuesday morning we were relaxing on the downstairs porch enjoying the fresh air when Home Depot dropped off a large delivery with a forklift and blocked my car in until I told him to move the stuff. About 30 minutes later people showed up to move all this stuff into the downstairs unit, which only had access through the downstairs porch we were hanging out in. Another disruption we didn't care for as we were trying to stay outside in the shade. Manager asked if they could have an electric company come Wednesday morning at 8:30 just to check out something in the downstairs apartment. They assured us no construction and they were just checking stuff out. Company arrived at 8:30, again making the downstairs porch unusable and they stayed until 3:30pm... 7 hours to check stuff out, going in and out of the patio, again making it unaccessible to us. This was very disruptive to our stay, but I agreed to it as I didn't think they would check it out for 7 hours. The same people showed up AGAIN on Thursday morning un-announced at 8:30am while we were trying to eat breakfast on the downstairs patio. Noticed foul smell under kitchen sink Thursday night, large bucket under garbage disposal was full of nasty leaking garbage disposal water. Would not stay again, too many disruptions

Native Floridians who have been visiting the Keys annually this is our second year staying on this canal. We loved every part of our stay this year. The house provided everything we needed other than our food and drinks and paper products although there were enough to start us off;) We stayed out on our boat everyday and enjoyed the outside deck and pool every night. We had great neighbors and no issues at all during our stay. Our host was in touch if needed (we didn’t have to call them) it was a wonderful week for our family and super convenient to watch the fireworks at Sombrero. We had two twenty year olds and two sixteen year olds and one seven year old along with our two dogs and everyone had fun. There was plenty to keep them busy and there was so much space. If your looking for a rental with lots of room and good times, they have it here;) we’ll definitely be back!

4 teenage boys loved the screened porch living area, fishing off dock, and pool. Quiet neighborhood, close to everything. Very helpful hosts. Comfortable furnishings. Well stocked. If bringing a boat, be sure to follow the channel markers VERY closely. Thanks!

The rental was a great location and very relaxing. We rented a boat that we kept at the dock. Any concerns we had Beth took care of immediately. Would absolutely stay there again

We enjoyed the location of the property (central to many things)! Loved having the pool and tiki bar, which was great for kids and adults. Manatees visited often which we all enjoyed. The outside space was our favorite place to be! My only complaints would be the downstairs apartment was not as clean as the main house and the main house fridge was not functioning. A heads up that there were problems with the fridge would have been nice since we lost a lot of food. The Manager was helpful in trying to get a substitute fridge. We would stay again and recommend it to others. Many memories were made, thanks!!

The heated pool and tiki bar were fan faves for this family vacation. It was great being backed up to the water and we could take kayaks and boats out whenever we wanted.

Needs an update. Property is worn and could have been cleaner, especially the downstairs apartment. Pool is small and was green more than clear. No heat on in the pool upon our arrival and even tho the manager had the pool people come turn the heat on the next day it was over 24 hours before we could actually get in. This is our 8th year of renting in Marathon and this was our least favorite place
