I stayed at this amazing studio cottage with my girlfriend for 2 nights for her birthday. Our hosts, Liz and Adam were simply amazing. They allowed us an early check in and a late check out. Liz even brought out bicycles for us to use to tour around the neighborhood and ride along the shore line.
Because it was my girlfriends birthday (or maybe they just do this), they had Prosecco and Orange Juice plus beer and cheese and other snacks for us when we arrived. The cottage is adorable, perfect size and location facing the water. We had free use of all of the amenities (firepit (wood and gas), pool, hot tub, paddle boards, etc.) but because it was late Oct and a bit chilly we only used the wood firepit and made smores with the chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers they left for us!
There are lots of great restaurants and breweries in the area, so there was never a dull moment.
I can't say enough about what an amazing place this is and how special our hosts were. We will be back!!!

Adam and Liz's waterfront studio is spectacular and they were perfect hosts. We hit a whammy with the weather and it basically never stopped raining during our stay, but the comfy recliners and panoramic view of the bay definitely allowed us to make the best of staying in. The studio itself is well equipped and we appreciated the numerous goodies Adam and Liz left for us. The only strike against the studio is the Murphy bed; we had to MacGyver things to use as nightstands, and its design meant an obstructed view of the TV from the bed (though we greatly appreciated that the TV was set up for streaming, something not yet true everywhere). Otherwise, everything is amazing. The property and all of its outdoor space really is spectacular, and the kayaking and swimming look like they would be phenomenal here, so we would definitely recommend coming in peak summer, when you can take full advantage of the long days and relatively lower chance of coastal storms. Branford, CT is beautiful; we were actually looking for a place to stay on the North Fork of Long Island (the other side of the Sound!) and Adam and Liz's studio somehow came up in the search results. It was a happy glitch; we'd definitely consider staying here again.

Our stay here was well worth the 8 hour drive. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. They provided all sorts of goodies upon our arrival. We immediately felt welcomed and our stay was very comfortable. The views and sunsets were some of our favorites! Thank you again for making our stay fun and truly enjoyable! We do want to come back!

My husband, my toddler, myself and our 3 dogs stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed watching our toddler and pups enjoy the little beach area. We hope to book again next year.

The property is exactly what you see advertised and much more, beautiful setting in Branford, CT with private beach, pool, hot tub, paddle boards and bbq grill. The house has a wonderful kitchen stocked with all equipment needed for cooking, the living area is cozy with beautiful water views, the outside seating is very comfortable with a gas fire pit near the house and another fire pit on the private beach. The private beach association swimming area is beautiful to hang out or swim and dive off the spring board. The owners are accommodating and responsive! We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beach cottage. It was quiet and restful…which is just what we were looking forward to. We enjoyed the private beach most! The tandem kayak was fun and there were so many other amenities available if we wanted to use them. (Paddle boards, bikes, a hot tub) The property hosts, Adam and Liz, were lovely. The extras they include (champagne, a few drinks in the frig, snacks, s’mores) are thoughtful and were appreciated. The reviews for this cottage are spot on!

We stayed at the property for 3 nights and found everything top shelf. First off the place was immaculate and had everything we needed. The Property Managers provided a bunch of extras such as K cups, waffles, a few beers and vodka coolers, a bottle of prosecco and a large container of orange juice as well as ingredients for s'mores! Also, prior to our visit we recieved a list of places to shop as well as their favorite restaurants and things to do in the area. The pool and beach were great and our 3 grandchildren came one afternoon for the pool, beach and BBQ lunch and had a great time.
Wonderful place with wonderful hosts and would highly recommend the place and go back as well.

I booked this amazing, fabulous, beautiful studio for my son and his wife for their anniversary. I wanted to give them a getaway that they would never forget. This lived up to everything that they ever imaged. First they couldn’t say enough about Lizbeth and Adam. My son said what first class hosts they were and couldn’t believe the extras they had for them. Everything was not only perfect but just added to their dreamy getaway. My son and daughter in law traveled to the neighborhood towns and again said the winery and the eateries were excellent. Having the beach and hot tub added to the magic.They are definitely returning next year. - My son’s final words were he had to keep reminding himself that he was still in Connecticut. If you have any doubt-don't -This is the wisest choice.

We went down to spend the last weekend with our dogs, one of which we knew would be her last visit to the beach. Owners were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, location was absolutely beautiful with the sun shining, birds singing, and water views. Every amenity you could think of was included along with welcoming drinks and snacks. A++ could not recommend any more highly.

The owners, Adam and Lizbeth, are friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. Lizbeth left a lovely set of treats for our arrival and Adam gave us a brief, helpful orientation to the property. The studio cabin is perfect for two. It is situated on a coast of substantial beauty, and only a short drive from groceries, restaurants, and state parks. The studio has unbelievable views, comfortable chairs for reading, and a new hot tub. The space is filled with lots of small pluses: soft blankets, an excellent hair dryer, lots of storage spaces, and attractive outdoor seating with a fire pit. Visiting off season was quiet and relaxing. We watched sunsets and saw the stars at night. Very highly recommended.

My boyfriend & I loved the whole place! I highly recommend & it’s super peaceful, calm & relaxing for a getaway. The shore by the house was great to search for rocks. We were surprised with some champagne, and extra goodies that the host left for us, speaks a lot for itself. Will definitely enjoy to come back! The hot tub was amazing & worked.

Adam and Lizbeth created such an incredible experience for us. Their generosity and hospitality went beyond our expectation with thoughtfully stocked goodies including a charcuterie board, mimosa makings, and chocolate to name a few; and graciously shared their beautiful property. The views are spectacular, and the studio apartment is so cozy and comfortable. We would highly recommend a getaway at this beautiful location with amazing hosts!

One of the best vacation rentals we have experienced. Adam and Lizbeth provide luxury level accommodations and perks. From a day of kayaking to fresh lobster aside the fire pit and many local activities. Highly recommend this cozy seaside treasure!

I took my husband on a small vacation to celebrate his birthday. The property was everything we were looking for and more! We had some much needed relaxation time. We were able to kayak, sit by the fire pit, go for walks, soak in the hot tub, visit restaurants, and tour the Thimble Islands, all without driving very far. The views in this area are breathtaking! Will definitely be recommending the property to others. Thank you for providing such a special experience.

The property was pretty and clean. We enjoyed the pool and the beach and the water sports equipment. Lots of wildlife too. Even though the hosts were in the main house, we were not intruded upon, but we’re very helpful when needed.

Shoreline Getaway
Wrap-around windows allow for great views of the cove and sunsets. Watch the lobster boat come in, take out a kayak, swim in the pool, soak in the hot tub, walk along the shoreline and view the sunrise just steps away from your door. Thoughtful items from the host make for a nice welcome. A great way to relax.
