The cleanliness and furnishings on the inside are inviting and homey. The view overlooking the water was worth it all. Even so, the exterior could stand a fair amount of maintenance. But if you mostly stay inside, no problem! Living room is spacious (for 3 couples) and kitchen, serving bar works well. There's fishing on the pier and from the shoreline. Caught nothing big, but kids would enjoy pulling in a bream! Plenty of TVs if that is your thing. Easy interaction with owner, Natalie. 8 minutes from the mall and 12 from downtown Florence.

The quiet location of this lake front property was great. All the museums and sound studios we visited were not far away. The host checked on us the second day we were there. We did however, find several things that bothered us. The water had to run for sometime before it was hot enough to shower in. In the kitchen we found pot holders stuck together with food, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and grease that stuck 2 sheet pans together in the cupboard. I'm not sure why there is a cleaning fee. We did leave it better than we found it. It is an older home, which we loved, but there was a broken electrical outlet in the dining area, wires exposed close to the baseboard in one of the bedrooms, and an old toothpaste cap in the bathroom drain. One highlight is the back porch which is awesome! We only got to use it one night due to rain the next 3 nights. We really did love the location, but were genuinly surprised by the condition of several things in the house. When we stay somewhere and pay that amount of money, we expect it to be as nice and clean as our own home. And we don't live in a mansion by any means. This is our fifth VRBO stay and our first disappointment.

Great location to spread out with family. The bedrooms on each side of the house make it really easy for multiple generations to stay together without feeling crowded because everyone has space. And the view and large deck are great! The gate closure on the deck is super helpful to make it an enclosed space for kids while still having easy access to the path to the dock.

We rented this property because we wanted a place to swim on the lake. This house did not disappoint. It is on a quiet cove with a dock that provides great access to the lake. The house is older but nice and spacious. It was perfect for our needs. The host checked on us during the stay to see if we needed anything.

We loved our time here! The multi decks were great and we mostly sat outside. The house was clean and comfortable. The instructions were clear and easy. The shower was a little difficult to figure out and took time to warm up. The outdoor decks were cobwebby. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would highly recommend.

We had the most amazing time. The host was very accommodating. We could not have asked for a better week. 5 🌟 's all the way! Thank you so much.

The house was nice, the back patio is incredible and shaded with another nice dock on the water. It’s in a cove area and the surrounding homes are very nice. Feels very safe. The beds are so comfortable. We had a great time and would stay there again.

The owners were very nice and their communication was great. The location is perfect. The shiplap and dining area are beautiful. The fridge and dishwasher were helpful. Unfortunately, the positives really ended there for us. The house seems partially updated but is old and worn. The master shower was honestly just gross. My husband used it once and we never touched it again. The unfinished open areas in the kitchen are unsightly. The many stains on the ceiling and doors, and the lack of finishing on baseboards and floors make the house seem dingy. I have deliberated for the whole week about what to post because my family was shocked after such positive reviews but I know how much we trust the reviews so we must be honest. This was sadly our first vrbo fail.

The house was very clean. It was a old and worn, but was pleasant. The deck is amazing, and the host was very responsive to the issues that arose during our stay. She let us use the leaf blower to clear the steps and was responsive when the dishwasher leaked. Overall, it was pleasant.

The property was fabulous and the location couldn't have been any better. The view was simply like a postcard to say the least.
