I wish there would be a little more info for food shopping options. Convenient store is a short walk but closest restaurant is 1.4 miles,which we didn’t mind to walk. Publix (grocery store)delivers instacart. Make sure to save one dishwasher soap until the end of trip bc vacasa wants you to start the dw before you check out(there r 2 tablets). Kitchen light switch is on the hallway door

Great location, very close to the beach, easy parking and no elevator waiting like at High rise condos.

I accidentally booked the condo for just one night. The price for housing was far less than the fees.

On the beautiful FL beach but off the main drag with the traffic/hustle-n-bustle of people. Nicely & conveniently tucked away. You can pop in to all the "things" quite easily or stay put and relax.

The hotel was clean and fairly price.

Some of the basic supplies were not provided. Soap and laundry detergent were not available. Also, the balcony door lock was broken. The fridge with the ice maker was non functional. they did provide a working fridge with no ice maker.

The property had great access to the beach and pool for the kids.

The property could use some updating as wear and tear are starting to show.

I loved the condo and location. The beach is literally steps away from the condo. The condo was adorable and very clean. I will stay at Island Echos again. One of the best beach vacations I have ever taken. The water was so beautiful.

I have no complaints.

The location was great, close to everything, the view was amazing, and we were comfortable. It was very clean and quaint. I would definitely book again if we come back to the Ft Walton/Destin area.

Beach and water was amazing the whole week we were there. Loved that it was only a short walk to our beach chairs as my husband is disabled.

Our room (5P) was as far from the elevator as you could get. That wasn't good for my disabled husband. The tub has black (mold?) Around the top edge of it. One towel bar in the bathroom was loose from the wall and the other was bent. The mattress was old and you rolled to the middle when laying on it. The couch was old, very uncomfortable, and smelled. The end of the coffee table was broke. The patio furniture was old and very uncomfortable. Most of the TV remotes didn't have batteries in them. The batteries in the thermostat went dead on our 3 rd day about 8 pm. We replaced them ourselves because I wasn't going without AC all night. I've stayed at Island Echoes 4 times in the past 2 years, and have paid $1500 - $2500 for our room. This is the worst one I've ever stayed in. If I would of paid a bargain price for the room, I could of overlooked some of the stuff. When I pay a premium price for a room I expect a nice room. One thing I don't like about booking.com is that you don't always see the exact room your getting until you book it. I won't be staying at Island Echoes again.
