Host was fantastic to deal with. Loved the house, view, fenced in back yard and deck.

Views, 4 ft fence/yard, privacy, pier, easy access and livability make it a 5-star stay w/ room for improvement on cleaning/maintenance. House & fenced yard very comfortable and accommodating for our family of 5 - which included 2 adults, 2 tweens, and our wheaten terrier. Two big bedrooms up had excellent water views, roomy closets. Kids found a sock under one bed (not theirs) first night so cleaning could have been more thorough. Linens and bathrooms all clean so ok there. Full bath as shown. Washer & dryer upstairs easy to use, washer could have been a bit cleaner as it looked a bit mildewy around interior rim. Baby gate stored next to the machines. Downstairs like listing photos- comfy, easy to relax, and had all things we needed. Kitchen not huge but adequate. Plenty of bowls, glasses, silverware, sheet pans next to stove, microwave and toaster worked fine, so did ovens (there are 2, we used both). Beds were very firm. Husband had trouble with downstairs bed being hard, also flat pillows could have been better. Sofa was big, comfy for all to share but ottoman was caving in. First night brief heavy rain caused small leak in LR ceiling & fence was broken in 1 spot when we arrived. Leak stopped & hubby temp fixed fence so not dealbreakers for our stay but owner alerted/was supposed to fix both after we left. Kids caught mini shrimp, crabs off pier in hand nets, two kayaks provided, dog bowls provided, all very accommodating. Overall really enjoyed our stay. No regrets.

Inside was very clean, well kept and kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans but left no pantry room for our groceries except on counters. All 3 beds had very firm mattresses. Lots of books and games for families to use. Host was very responsive and friendly. Listing identified a pool but it was in another neighborhood a few miles away so we didn’t bother. Deck, windows, and stairs were covered in spiderwebs. We knocked them down the first night but they were all back by morning so we gave up. Overall it was a pleasant stay as we spent more time at the beach and engaging in area activities more than being at the house.
