The home is beautiful! The amenities are all very nice. It is spacious for a larger group of people. The location is very convenient to both northern and southern north shore. It is right on the lake with a gorgeous view from every room. There is easy access to the shoreline, also. My children are in their 20's and they loved all of it. I hope to return.

We have stayed at this property multiple times and are so grateful for the family memories we have made here! The house is beautiful, is always immaculate, and is in the perfect spot for outings to the state parks, Grand Marais, and more. Thank you, Dawn! We hope to return soon!

I rented the cabin for my husband and his friends for his 50 birthday. It was perfect! The cabin itself is beautiful and well stocked with anything you might need. There was plenty of firewood for use. The location is perfect if you like being away from it all, but close enough to places to eat as well. If you are into mountain biking there is a nice trail across the main road by the house. It was well maintained and lots of fun. The beds were comfy, house was clean. The guys took two fishing excursions nearby and caught their dinner almost every night they was there. Dawn was absolutely amazing to work with. She is so sweet. If you are lucky enough to come across her listing just go ahead and rent this place. You won’t regret it!

We celebrated our 40th anniversary with our children and grandchildren at the house. We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Everything was so clean and so perfect. We had everything we needed and more. We all agreed it was a convenient area in proximity to sites we wanted to go to visit. We loved having a fire near by the lake. The deck is amazing for coffee in the morning and perfect for dinner in evening. Dawn was so accommodating and we will definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your home and letting us create family memories❤️

This house (log and stone) was beautifully designed and superbly constructed, right on Lake Superior. Huge deck with one large table and chairs and one small table and chairs, plus large propane grill. Two stone fireplaces. Path down to the lake. Firewood provided. Everything (except one warped frying pan) in excellent working order. The host (Dawn) is/was most gracious and kind, forgiving some breakage by one of our party. Frankly, I do not think there is a finer house (and host) on the North Shore. Everyone of our party praised this place. Absolutely recommended.

The property was beautiful and cozy on the overcast and rainy weekend. Watching the lake as the weather turned through all of the windows was amazing. Dawn responded to questions promptly and was very helpful. The home was artfully decorated and it was a perfect place to meet up with friends.

Our stay in Beaver Bay was truly a North Shore Retreat. The cabin captures the true feeling of Lake Superior in all its vastness, ruggedness, and beauty. Fabulous views of sunrises over the lake. This was a great place to stay for our group. The main level has lots of space for friends to gather, including a large dinner table to accommodate everyone. Plenty of firewood for the fireplaces. Dawn, the owner was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. It was like having your own private lodge on the North Shore!

What a beautiful home on Lake Superior. The only element that was better than the inside of the house was the OUTSIDE of the house. Wonderful, private location hidden in the trees, right on the lake. Woke up every morning and drank coffee with the family on the giant deck overlooking the lake. Looking forward to our next stay! Thank you Dawn!

Three couples that have been friends for over 50 years decided we wanted to take a vacation together to celebrate on if the couples 50th wedding anniversary. We researched and found this beautiful property on the North Shore of Lake Superior. This home is truly a little slice of heaven. The views from almost every room in the house is superb. The home has everything you could possibly need for cooking and for relaxing. The beds were all so comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Dawn, the owner, was so easy to work with and answered an questions we had within a few minutes. this home is located close to everything, so shopping, hiking or sightseeing was all close at hand. We will definitely be visiting here again!

This is our favorite property on the North Shore. Beautiful home, fabulous Lake Superior view, great amenities. Well stocked kitchen. Easy to enjoy all the North Shore has to offer from here. Dawn is an awesome host and very easy to communicate with. Looking forward to our next stay!

This place is everything you could dream of. Outstanding lake views, very quiet, and the beautiful home has everything you need inside and out. We had bonfires most nights feet from the lake shore which was a perfect ending to the days. There are a lot of places to visit close by, but you have everything you need if staying in. Communication with Dawn was excellent and she answered any questions we had in a timely manner. Don't hesitate to book this home, you won't regret it!

The house is top quality and beautiful. Kitchen has everything you need and you will want to eat there because of the setting. The grill on the deck is excellent. The owner is so helpful and provides very specific instructions. It's right next door to Cove Point Lodge which has EV chargers if you happen to have an electric car (we do!).

We stayed here for a bachelorette party! It was lovely, very comfortable for everyone. The deck is amazing with unmatched views! Grill and firewood are nice to have! well stocked With anything you should need. One hour away from Grand Marais, decent distance from Duluth. Grocery store about 10 minutes away! Would definitely go back

Beautiful place, beautiful view
We had an incredible stay with 3 couples exploring the North Shore. This log home on Lake Superior is beautiful, clean, feels like home (probably nicer than home, haha). It is centrally located for exploring the North Shore. We started in Duluth and ended in Grand Portage over 3 days. Perfect! Enjoy a huge bonfire down on the rocky shore, plenty of wood provided. Bar/restaurant as you leave the property. We would highly recommend.

What a gorgeous property on the most beautiful piece of land. We loved the house, it was the perfect size for us - 6 adults and 3 month old twins. So much room to spread out, dining room was great for family meals and so many people could be in the kitchen at one time. I would recommend this house for anyone and the host was amazing.

Beautiful cabin!
We had a great time at this cabin. It’s cozy, clean and provides lots of space for the 5 adults and three kids in our party. The kitchen had every appliance you could need and the views of the lake are amazing. Communication with the home owner was easy and overall it was a perfect trip!

Only two cons was seating in the TV area was limited downstairs. We had six6six adults but there was only enough seating for 4 people, a couch and big chair. Wasn’t comfortable for everyone for the movie night we had. Someone/previous renters didn’t turn off the propane tank on the grill. Had a tiny scare when my friend went to grill. Dawn was great to work with, answered all our questions and communicated expeditiously up until our stay. A lot of amenities. Definitely would come back! The entire home and outdoor space is beautiful!
