Deposit taken, despite no damage to property no refund given host is now ignoring calls and emails

property was exactly how it was described in the photos and description. had a nice colour made you feel at home

Lovely apartment throughout, very well looked after and so much around for guests to use for entertainment. Super comfortable with everything you need close by. It was perfect! And to top it off the communication and customer service skills between myself and the owner we’re impeccable! Highly recommend.

The apartment was a nice concept but was let dow in so many ways

Just to start from the beginning. After i booked the apartment I wanted view the apartment before my cancellation time period ran out and the viewing was purposefully delayed i believe which was not a good start. After i picked up the keys i gave my £300 deposit left without actually inspecting the place and just trusting that everything was in order but when i later arrived and gave the place a look around i was VERY disappointed. the apartment hadn’t been cleaned at all, it had hairs all over the bed, the bed sheets were dirty , the floor was dirty and the bathroom had hair everywhere! Considering the coronavirus circumstances and the high £95 cleaning fee you would expect the place to be spotless but this was out of order. I called the owner and he responded in a careless attitude even after i showed him the videos of the place, he told i would get the cleaning fee back if i put in a good review so i started cleaning the place myself as much as i could. When leaving the apartment the next day i was told my the owner i would get the cleaning fee back and the deposit, 2 days went by and i had ended up chasing them around for my deposit to the point where i had to travel 30 mins to go get my money back and never got the cleaning fee back. Absolutely not worth it, Just believe me this is not a place u want to spend your hard earned money!!!
