property was as advertised nice little place with a nice deck. We enjoyed seeing the Elk and deer on a daily basis would rent this place again in the future. Only issue is parking if you have a trailer. I had no issues but if you are not good at reversing a trailer downhill you might have issues.

We really enjoyed our stay here!! Scenery was beautiful and the huge deck was awesome! It was really neat seeing Elk just roam all around the property. The host really did think of everything to accommodate guests.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Outside area is spacious, beautiful and surrounded by Pine trees!

Property is rustic enough to give the cabin feel with everything you need. Deck space is amazing, we spent most of our time out there. Enjoyed the wildlife and wind in the trees. I can’t take this away from the property but there were some noisy neighbors on Friday night. Not enough to ruin the experience tho. We love this area and travel here often. Probably time to find a place of our own. Thanks so much, it’s always hard to leave.

Great deck and outdoor space.

The cabin was great, every day we got to see wild animals walking around the neighborhood. The location was great, short drive to Payson, short drive to the several hikes we went on, weather was amazing. Everyone in my family had an amazing time. And everyone we met in Pine and Strawberry was super friendly!! I would recommend staying here.

We had a really good family vacation at the Lovin Lufkin Cabin. The beds were super comfortable, the house's tech is very very good- nice wifi, all 3 TVs are streaming capable- Roku-branded, there's an Amazon smart speaker in the living room/dining area which is very handy. We really liked the large deck overlooking the yard and neighboring trees and the surrounding neighborhood. Wildlife! We saw numerous elk, including one big male with antlers. One javelina came right up to the stairs of the walkway leading down from the driveway, and we had a nice face-to-face encounter that lasted several minutes and ended peaceably. Too many squirrels and birds to count. Patrick and Nadia emphasize that their cabin has had several wildlife encounters for their guests- this is not an exaggeration. My daughter enjoyed their wildlife blind in the side yard area. It snowed when we visited- fortunately not too heavily, just perfect for a Phoenix kid to appreciate a little-seen weather phenomenon, at least in central Arizona. The cabin's heating system kept the indoors quite comfortable, the warming bed liners were very nice. The cabin has a wood-burning stove, we brought firewood and indoor/outdoor firelogs with us. The fire pit in the yard was rustic but comfortable. If you are coming up when it's going to be cold, definitely bring supplies for both or buy them locally. The bathroom was well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and helpful labels directing visitors where equipment may be found. I don't really have any complaints about the property. The listing is accurate. There is no dishwasher- somehow the lack of one escaped my notice when I read the listing. I can't really fault Nadia or Patrick on that score though- I just assumed there was one. Washing dishes by hand was no big deal, really. Just know that you'll be doing that too. If you want to visit Strawberry/Pine, you really should think about the Lovin Lufkin Cabin. Our family of three fit in there perfectly, and if we had more people coming with us on the trip, the extra beds in the second bedroom would have come in super handy. This is the fourth cabin we have booked for the Strawberry/Pine region, we have been coming to this area for the last five years straight. We would book the Lovin Lufkin Cabin again, and you should definitely consider doing the same if you like clean cozy cabins and wildlife.

This and absolutely charming property! Enjoyed all the wildlife and walks around the area. Even got a quick 4WD lesson getting over the temporary makeshift road out of the driveway. Highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this cute cabin. The cabin was clean and everything that we needed was there,. although, we didn’t really need much as we didn’t plan on cooking meals or doing much other than hiking with our pups and relaxing. It was perfect for that. It was cool enough to enjoy some time out on the deck and our dogs enjoyed wandering around in the fenced area. The hosts were very responsive to any questions that we had and the little snack and tea bar was a wonderful touch. One thing to note if you have dogs, the fenced area does not include the deck so if you have dogs that you don’t trust off leash you will have to leash walk them to the fenced area like we did. Not a big deal and we knew this going in. Also there weren’t many restaurants open on Monday and Tuesday so we found ourselves at THAT Brewery in Pine several times. No complaints there! Everything we ordered was wonderful. Overall, we had a very nice, relaxing time here.

We arrived on a HOT 90+ day. The owner was helpful in getting the swamp cooler running. It worked wonderfully and is a great amenity for the summer months. There is also a great crank umbrella on the deck to keep the sun off you. The deck itself is spacious, perfect for sitting outside (there are some deck floor boards that could use replacing). There is a game trail that goes behind the house. We saw elk, deer, javelina, a coyote and two skunks during our stay. The snack basket was thoughtful and the wireless charging on the master night stands was unexpected. We had a great stay overall.

We had such an amazing time during our stay at the LovinLufkinCabin!! Patrick and Nadia were so accommodating and helpful when the town of Strawberry was under fire restrictions. They communicated often and we truly appreciated all they did for us. When we were allowed to head up to Strawberry we so excited! The cabin was very, very clean which was wonderful! We had so much fun watching all the wildlife as did our dog Odin! The big patio outside was perfect to sit and have coffee in the morning and dinner at night. The views were wonderful! The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking and bathroom needs. The beds were very comfortable too! It is also close to hiking trails. We honestly did not want to leave! We can't recommend this cabin enough! Thank you for such an amazing stay!
