Lovely friendly staff who make a point of knowing your name. Excellent beach front location. Clean rooms, beds were made daily. Great value for money with air conditioning and safe included.

This hotel needs a major injection of cash. Tiny bathroom with old shower with mouldy tiles. Light fittings hanging off. Stained towels. Absolutely awful breakfast. All sunbeds gone by 9am. Worse hotel we stayed in on our trip

Everything apart from location

The location was fabulous. Tara Beach is set in beautiful gardens with a lovely pool over the road from the gorgeous Skala Beach. It has an amazing family feel. I loved all the family photos framed in Reception. The staff know guests by name even first time guests like myself. They went above and beyond to help when my son became unwell. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here and to return ourselves.

The rooms are a little dated but you know your not getting a 4 star when you book ...(only negative I can think of)

The location is unbeatable- across the road from a lovely beach and close to all the restaurants and bars in Scala. The pool is fantastic - large, clean and plenty of sun loungers. The staff are so welcoming and kind. The whole hotel is well maintained and very clean. This was my first stay but many guests return every year and I can see why. Tara beach hotel offers excellent value for money and a great location- perfect for a relaxed beach holiday.

Very poor breakfast.

The location was amazing. We could walk from the pool to the beach in seconds. It couldn’t be better. The staff were lovely and very friendly. They remembered our names when they saw us. We loved our stay here. We will be back.

The breakfast wasn’t great. We understood that they had to give us organised portions because of COVID but the tray of food was small and sometimes the bread wasn’t fresh. We ended up eating out for breakfast and some guests brought their own food.
