Excellent location，extremely comfortable room，fabulous breakfast

The hospitailty was outstanding; the breakfast was outstanding; the property itself (and especially our suite) was outstanding. We would have no reservation about recommending it to anyone!!!

The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble

My bathroom was outside the room, however Natali gave me a robe and slippers and was super helpful, which more than helped with the small inconvenience.

Highly recommend St. Andrews House. We stayed in the "apartment" suite, which provided extra sitting room and kitchen. A nice short walk to downtown shopping area. Breakfast was excellent and friendly.

Our second floor room was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean and elegant with a nice southern views of some of the beautiful homes in the area and hills in the distance. Natali and Tony were great hosts with much information to share about Ballater. Great walks and hikes right out of the front door. I especially liked the hike to the summit above Ballater called Craigendarroch. The “outside” pic is from the summit of this hike. The walk along the River Dee is quite enjoyable also. Fantastic breakfast! Natali shines in this regard in spite of me seeing Tony wearing an apron one morning. 😁 The “lobby” picture is one of the dining room tables set for breakfast. We would go back in a heartbeat!

The owners could not have been nicer. We updated them at short notice about changes to our travel arrangements and they were more than happy to accommodate us.

Perfectly located, wonderful breakfast and hosts.

Location is great, a nice walk to the village. Hosts are welcoming and helpful. Shower built into turret is pretty special!

Bed in room 1 is very small, and not too comfortable. Would suggest requesting a bigger room. Price is perhaps a bit high based on the small room. House a bit noisy, but not a major problem.

it was clean and Ballater is a beautiful village.

the B&B is on a very busy road, there is single glass in the room so it is extremely noisy. you can hear people from the room next door. there is a little in the room with instructions, what is forbidden to do or what we should not do. my husband could not shower because the water was cold. in the morning there is light very early in the room because you can not close the curtains. we had 3 huge spiders in our room running. the breakfast was very limited if you are vegetarian or vegan. the style of the house is very bling bling , we did not feel comfortable at all. the owner keep 100€ on your credit card as a deposit in case of if you break maybe something, with we never had before, we felt also very uncomfortable with this rule. the bed was very hard, not comfortable and the matras was very thin. we did not enjoy our stay. the price we had to pay was extremely expensive for what you experience. value for money is absolutely not good.

St Andrew’s house was the perfect spot for our stay. The rooms were beautiful, close to town, hosts were welcoming and provided us with all the information we could want on the local area, plus the breakfast was great!

Natali & Tony, the owners/operators, were lovely people who (successfully) worked hard to make sure our stay was wonderful. The breakfast was great and was much more than I expected. Natali was incredibly pleasant and friendly, and Tony helped me plan a really beautiful motorcycle route in the nearby area.

This B and B was spotless, beds comfortable with nice linens and beautifully decorated. The hostess and host were friendly, helpful and gracious. The breakfast we perfectly prepared and served in a bright comfortable room.

it was perfect!

Natali & Tony are absolutely awesome and their place as well. We were a large group and had the whole property to ourselves. The rooms were very comfortable and stylishly designed. The town is a short walk away and the area is very safe. Oh and the provided breakfast was excellent!!! All in all - we were on a week long trip across Scotland and this place was by far the highlight of our trip.
