location was good and the place was clean, bed was comfortable

we booked for 3 adults and the property said it had a sofa bed which had no bedding or sheets and we had to use the coverlet on the bed and some towels for our daughter to sleep on. the full address and key code were not provided until we had signed the rental agreement which was not indicated except when scrolled to the very bottom of the confirmation below rental cars which we didn’t not need. We put the limited information in to maps which sent us 25 min towards the airport in the opposite direction. the directions on the information for checkin were to check in at the property and the on site person was of zero help. without the code and instructions we were unable to get into the unit for almost two hours of waiting on hold, phone dying, recharging and calling again. your text system answered after already checked out with zero info

I liked the location overall as the ocean was just across the street and the town was nice. The bed was comfortable and the balcony ok.

The Kitchen was old but good size with good refrigerator, but the utensils were very limited and old. There was no dishwasher so you had to wash your own dishes which made me wonder how well the previous visitors cleaned up. One dining chair had a nail sticking out at the bottom which would tear the carpet if you tried to move it. Climbing 4 flights of stairs was good exercise for this old guy but be aware of that if you rent this place. No elevator.

I like that it had air conditioning and the room was clean

I didn't like that the pull-out couch did not have a blanket and I did not like The Neighbor Next Door to us yelling at us not to touch the cats scared my autistic son and I did not like the fact that the role screen on the deck was falling off every time we touched it and there were dirty pillow cases on the pillows for the extra bed

Ocean view and location. Cute but small apt.

Couldn't figure out the wi-fi. Sliding glass door did not work well. Vent in toilet room needed cleaning badly.

There was a washer and dryer in the room.

There were ants all over the kitchen counter and on the bedroom dresser. The pull-out couch was not comfy. Check-out time was too early as we had 9 hours until our flight.

Front desk staff were the only helpful people.

That I haven’t gotten my refund.

For the price you charge it wasn’t satisfactory the pictures on the internet are not any thing close to the condition of the place there is broken blinds I asked to get fixed no one showed up the place wasn’t clean we found lady’s under garnets in closet

The ad showed a beachfront view and it had a street view. As well it was way more expensive that advertised

The room #234 that we got (not booked originally) was small but nicely furnished and decorated and exceptionally well equipped and clean. Facing the hill it was also quiet enough albeit being right on Allii Drive. I‘d book it again in a heartbeat.

What I didn’t like was the registration procession under Vacasa management. We booked the room a year in advance and received confirmations until the day before arrival. Trying to check in we were told our room was „unfortunately” sold already and we could split our stay between two different properties. I was reluctant because that meant moving two days before the Ironman competition, but was told I could either accept or cancel altogether (not really an option as there wax literally nothing available at that time). Upon checking in we were also given the wrong code and had to wait till we were given a valid entry code. The Vacasa staff was extremely good at not finding a solution to the check out ~ check in time gap of a few hours on moving day. Despite their reassurances they’d get in contact it was in the end the Kona Bali Kai ground crew who simply solved the problem by ordering the cleaners to clean our room last, to give us more time till the second property was ready. So kudos to the property team.

Place was dingy and dark. Interactions with managers were terrible and unhelpful. Price hike at booking was infuriating ($227 cleaning fee?!) and gouge-y.

Location is perfect, super quiet, pool is clean, AC and fans make a big difference during your stay, washer and dryer inside, kitchen items in good condition (with a few more kitchen towels would be perfect ), the apartment is spacious (with a small problem of infestation of ants), in general I can say that I enjoyed my stay and yes I would return

The staff was rude, lack of patience, they slam the window in your face. Customer service only takes your complaint, but does not solve it, the iron didn't work, the beach chairs leaked rusty water. They don't have a mop or cleaning supplies in the bathroom. when making the reservation they do not inform you that they do not provide toilet paper, napkins / paper towels or shampoo throughout your stay

I liked that the property was close to Magic Beach and close to the Da Poke Shack.

The property was outdated and the front desk clerk wasn’t very friendly.

Oceanfront and pools were clean.

I didn't like the air conditioner didn't work. The advertisement of air conditioner when the bedroom had none in 351. A carbon monoxide detector was installed when I was out at Kona Inn Restaurant. The bacteria was high in the area. I had a international hospital record the bacteria on the property. The smell of urine by the shoreline.
