The host, Shana Wilcox, is great. She communicated the entry process in a timely manner. Her courtesy and consideration is admirable. The house is located on a very private lot without being isolated. It is very comfortable and well-equipped. I highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay at the treehouse. The house was very clean, even all of the glass windows. The location was close to town but it felt secluded since the house is surrounded by trees. The nature watching was my toddler’s favorite part, her only complaint would be there weren’t enough deer - although we did see them on 3 separate occasions in our 3 night stay. The kitchen was big enough, the showers worked well and we’re clean. The tub was perfect for a toddler’s bath. It was a little funny that there wasn’t a door for the downstairs bedroom but with the noise machine we brought, we didn’t wake the toddler up when we stayed up and talked upstairs past her bedtime as she slept in the lower level bedroom. All around it was a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay while visiting family who live in town and we will see if it’s available for our next visit. Thanks for having us!

The treehouse had great views. A herd of deer walked the back yard and we sat to watch them for about an hour. We enjoyed our stay and hope to book this place again!

We planned this trip because our daughter's name is Bristol and her teacher told her about the city in TN that is Bristol. We had such a great time. She loved that this was called the Bristol treehouse and that it was a treehouse made it even more exciting for our two kids. The house was in the perfect location for all the things we wanted to do. It is minutes from downtown and only 15 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway. We went to the Speedway in Lights which was so great. If you are coming at Christmas this is a great thing for the kids. We also went through Johnson City on the way up and saw the Candyland Christmas. We all loved seeing all the decorated trees. This was a great family getaway.

We enjoyed our stay very much! A very cool shaped house that was clean, thoughtful, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The woods surrounding the property did feel lovely and remote but it's close to the city and in a safe neighborhood. We have already recommended staying here to our friends.

The Treehouse is the cutest rental! Very clean and welcoming. It’s located very close to town but feels like your further out. You feel like your in the trees instead of a neighborhood. I appreciated the personal touches the owner left like maps and food recommendations. We also got to see a bunch of deer! Highly recommend!

The property itself is gorgeous. It's nestled into beautiful trees and makes you feel worlds away. But it's also very close to a busy historic downtown Bristol. Also, the food recommendations the host provided were spot on! The couch is super dangerous cause your eyes close on their own and you end up taking a nap cause it's so comfy, haha. The view from the bedroom is inspirational to wake up to in the morning. Shana, the host, was super friendly and made sure I had all the check in information when my phone was acting up. Honestly, I plan to come back and spend a whole week here, it wouldn't go to waste!

Great location, clean, everything we needed. Loved the upper and lower outside decks—the trees, very peaceful and quiet.

We really enjoyed the treehouse. We rode the VA creeper trail, visited caverns, kayaked in a nearby state park, hiked, played disc golf and explored state street. All within east drive. We saw deer most every day and enjoyed walks to a nearby playground. If you’re going to Bristol area we highly recommend the Treehouse!

Perfect location for hiking the 5 state parks nearby. You feel secluded, but town is just around the corner. The house is very inviting and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Owner’s recommendations for local restaurants were excellent, as well.

This house is just blocks from town and yet feels like it’s in the middle of the forest. We walked to everything. It was everything we needed, clean, updated, windows and light everywhere. It is plenty big for 4 or maybe 6, but any more would be crowded. We had just 2 and were perfectly happy. I would definitely stay here again.

The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable and the house is outfitted with everything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. We didn’t need anything that was not provided! There were only two of us so we didn’t use the downstairs, but we played cards, enjoyed walks around the property and spent our evenings on the swing outside watching the sun set. Great visit to an area of VA/TN we had not previously visited. Enjoyed "Frankenstein" play at Barter Theater in Abingdon, VA and Country Music Museum in Bristol. Great trip to Cumberland Gap area. Will do again sometime.
