The location was excellent. There was free parking week days and £3 per day at weekends. We didn't have any problems parking but our stay was end of November, not so easy in the summer months. The area is very well provided for with regards to bars/restaurants and some great places to visit, fabulous beach.

We arrived on 20th November on the coldest day this winter and the apartment was freezing! No heating had been put on for our arrival and no instructions as to how to turn it on. It took us an hour or so to fathom it out. Then because there had been no heating in the place for a week, the owner had 'forgotten' to turn it on it took ages to warm through, not the start we were hoping for. The bedroom in particular was very cold and very small, hardly room to get out of bed. No washing machine and very few cupboards in the kitchen. No basic provisions were provided, milk, bread etc. And no contact from the owner until we arrived home after they read our comments in their guest book. Poor show really disappointed in their lack of care. Won't be staying there again, but loved Tynemouth.

Location fab. Very clean and kitted out well with more than the list suggests. I.E. There is a hairdryer in the flat , but it doesn't list it.Parking free during the week and easy to get just outside the flat.Easy access to flat ( no stairs)

Bed would have been more comfortable with a mattress topper.It was just ok without one
