(I recommend a trailer brake controller for any long trips and/or if towing with anything smaller than a half ton truck) Make sure your vehicle has at least a class 3 hitch with a 2” ball and 7 wire light plug. Also notice with this being the off road model the hitch height is higher than normal, optimum hitch height is about 20” to 24” above the ground to tow the camper level.
